This belt tension tool performs as expected. A simple design, seemingly just like the oem Harley tool but for much less $.Allows for a more accurate check of the belt adjustment giving peace of mind that the belt is within the correct service specification.

My Harley started chirping when letting off the throttle. Believed it was the belt so I bought this tool and sure enough my belt was way loose. No frills tool, does what it’s supposed to and seems to be decently well made.If you don’t have a bike stand and have to do this on the kick stand, it may be a little difficult to get the tool on the belt and your finger under it to push up. Not a huge issue, but if you have weak hands it is a difficult angle.

I used it to set my belt. Seemed in the correct range. Was very loose and now it is tight but not like a bow string.I have checked the belt after each 100 mile ride. Everything stayed the same.Would be really nice to have a sticker on unit from when it was checked at factory for 10 pound accuracy. Too much trouble for China quality control

This is one of those "must have" tools in your collection of motorcycle tools. Very easy to use. I used this tool on my 2009 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic and it worked perfectly.
