Most commonly found on PCs as the PS/2 keyboard/mouse connector, the 6-pin Mini-DIN connection is used for a variety of applications, such as: Amateur HF radio equipment DATA connection Altec-Lansing PC speaker system subwoofer cable Blitz automotive DVD screen Chatterbox headsets Klipsch 2.1 channel audio system connections RS 232 connection on Dell MP series projectors Throttle cable for Saitek x52 Flight Sticks TV-out connection for Leadtek and VisionTek GeForce 2 Ti cards and many others This 6 foot cable provides a straight-through (pin 1 to pin 1, etc.) connection with a male 6-pin Mini-DIN connector on each end. Review: used with a KVM switch, served well though windows 11 didn't want to play nice, no fault of the product, just be aware before trying to interface 3 different generations of PCs where one of them doesn't natively support ps2 Review: Purchased one for my old Saitek X52 joystick. The original cable between the stick and the throttle has always popped out at inconvenient times, causing many a bewildering moment while flying X-Plane. This cable solves the issue. The cable connector grip is good on both sides and doesn't pop out so easily.

No problems, well made, sturdy, and plugs in nice and snug. Sometimes you get cheaper cables in this style that are looser fitting in the sockets.

I cut this in half to make my own soundcard for the radio. It fits fine into the port, no need to remove any of the port housing. There is a bare shield ground wire running the length of the cable too, aside from the data ground. Wires inside were thin but stripped easily, took jst connector crimps fine and didn't break or anything like that, seems like a decent cable for what it is. 73 KN4YRM
