Straight forward manual broken down into every part in the unit. Difficult to find some items, better if your a boat mechanic who know the basics, but the only manual out there that can help you tear the unity apart. So can recommend it if you'er a DIY to avoid the $100 boat mechanic who will have to use the book himself to repair anything.......

Rebuilt my engine with this manual. Only stripped out one bolt when tightening to specs listed in book. Other than that, great manual! **make sure you read the full chapter, start to finish, before starting. Being the genius that I am, I had to do roll my engine over to oil the piston rings** Engine runs great.

Lots of info everything you need is in it. Just takes time to find it

Manual sent was NOT as advertised or ordered. Described as covering Volvo Penta 1992 thru 2003. What came was dated from 1992 thru 2002. The material I was seeking was not covered by publisher ,so must seek different source.

Worked great for our 97 four winns horizon with a 4.3L with a Cobra SX outdrive.
