***In the picture, it conveys a thicker, more curvy construction. In reality, it is thin and rather flat, not very desired attributes. The quality however merited the 4-star rating. It is made of soft and very well finished genuine grainy top leather, and neutral color or natural light tannish bottom cowhide. The ratchet buckle means it will never be stress-bent at the pinhole notch leading to cracking, peeling or splitting. This belt can last years even with heavy continuous use.***

Fashionable Ratchet Belt
The belt buckle is beautiful; the ratchet mechanism impeccably smooth; and evokes a lot of compliments. I am so taken with ratchet belts...this one included...that I plan to empty my closet of all old fashioned belts one of these weekends and just keep the ratchet belts. The ratchet function is particularly useful if you are, like me, losing weight, or perhaps gaining. Highly recommend.

Ratchet belts are amazing.
This is the third ratchet belt I’ve purchased in the last 2 months. My previous purchases were from a different manufacturer. This belt is slightly wider. The packaging was basic and functional. Arrived in perfect condition. Easy to size and attach the buckle. I’ll never buy any other than a ratchet belt again.

One of the best belts I've ever owned
I am so glad that I got this belt. Getting a belt with this style of latch made me a little nervous, but it's a breeze to operate. All you have to do is tighten the belt until it is snug, just like you are supposed to do. When you need to release the belt, release the tension on the clasp and it will come right off.

First take off might be a bit tough.
After taking a couple minutes to figure out how to take this thing off and contemplating that this is just life now I was finally able to break it loose the first time. After that it’s been easy squeezy lemon peezy. Super awesome belt def buying another one

Great value!
Just as advertised, fortunately I have lost weight, so they fit fine. There is a knack to releasing the catch, but these turned out to be nicer than slider belts at only 25% of the cost.

Ratchet Belt
Looks good enough, doesn't seem like it'll break anytime soon. Very nice to have if you always need to adjust your belt. Maybe if I lost weight... Until then I have this belt.
