Vietnam Travel Map Eighth Edition (Periplus Travel Maps Country Map) Map – Folded Map, May 27, 2014

Bought as a gift for a very rural school and presented to them while on vacation there. Did not actually use the map myself.

This map was a big disappointment. The description promised a Vietnam country map, but this is misleading. On one side there is a large map of Hanoi (and smaller maps of 3 other areas) with a map of northern Vietnam squeezed into the left one third of the page. On the other side there is a huge map of Ho Chi Minh City (and smaller maps of 3 other areas) with a map of southern Vietnam in the lower right corner occupying about 1/6 of the page. Because the maps of northern and southern Vietnam are condensed, the print is so small that city names, etc. are almost impossible to read without magnification.

Gives you the basics for size of country.

useless. The resolution is too low. Nobody can see the detail on it.

Helpful for planning a trip to Vietnam.

GREAT PRODUCT.

I didn't find the map to be very easy to read and use.
