Our switch died and getting this part locally was a challenge. AMAZON to the rescue! For us this was the exact replacement needed.

Switch works great. Amazon was the only place I could find it that could get it to me next day. So all of that was positive. I took off one star because the instructions were useless. They do not show which wires go to which connections on the switch. There is usually a diagram showing inbound black wire (hot wire) going to a particular connection and outbound (to the fan motor) red and black wires to particular connections so that you know low will be low speed, high will be high speed, and off will be off. Simple, right? Not with their instructions. I did a web search for "wiring masterflow bws2 switch" images and found one right away that showed me where to connect each wire. Then it was simple!

I bought this switch as is was specified as the switch to buy for my attic fan. It is solid and does the job, no humming (believe it or not, a poorly made switch can humm) and has a smooth action. The only complaint is that the instructions are vague at best, but I know enough about electricity to know which wire went where.

The installation instructions only show the wires going to the switch, no labels. Nothing on their website. Fortunately, there competitor's switch is similar and has better videos and instructions
