Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Supports bonding & Wake-On-LAN on Dell Tower PCs
Bought this to create bonded interfaces on a Dell Optiplex 980 running Ubuntu 20.04 connected to a Ubiquiti switch. Card was recognized immediately. Bonding was simple to set up with nm-connection-editor and works. Wake-On-LAN works. Couple of things to watch out for: - While Wake-On-LAN works with Ubuntu Adaptive Load Balancing bonding, whether it works with 802.3ad bonding will depend on the upstream switch. - Installing the card changed the order in which the BIOS recognized drives and the machine wouldn't boot immediately after installing the card. Fixed that by reordering the BIOS boot preference for the drives. Update: Bought a second one for use in a Dell Pro Slim Plus minitower running Ubuntu 24.04. Great performance and instant recognition by the OS for bonding and WoL, just like the one mentioned above that's installed in an Optiplex 980.

Works with OpenBSD, full 1gbps thoughput without issue
I'm using a pair of these Gigabit Dual NIC with Intel 82576 Chip on OpenBSD. Worked OOB. It's been running for about a month now. I've had no trouble getting ~1gbps saturation on these cards between machines tested with iperf or through the internet with various speed test sites.

Not VMWARE compatible. even with latest drivers
The description says it's compatible with VMWARE. I just tried to use it with Esxi 6.7 and it can't see it even with the newest drivers. NOT Vmware compatible. For windows it's great it was easy to install and came right up but I needed it for VMWare, not windows.

Does what is needed
I needed a network card for my pfsense box. This does the job. Pfsense recognized it as an Intel card and it seems to be running as is expected for a network card. I don't quite get the 1.25G part of the card since I am using it in a gigabit switch but I am happy with it's performance. This will do well until I can get a 4 port nic

Name Brand product for no name brand price
Great product and a great price for dual ethernet port card. Unbeatable price on name brand part. Cant beat the quality.

Solved Issues with Onboard LAN
Love this piece. Installed in my W2016 Plex and file server to retire the overworked onboard chip, which was getting flaky. Plug and play, and since W2016 supports NIC teaming, my server now has a 2 gig connection to the LAN. And look at that heatsink! No wonder the lame onboard NIC died!

I am using this in my pfsense box, they work out of the box. I replaced the stock thermal glue with a drop of MX4. It does get little hot without a fan so I added an 80mm fan facing directly on the nic and it is much cooler now even under heavy load.
