UPDATED REVIEW: After writing my review I decided to forward it to the customer service department at Crave Naturals and found their email on their website. I received an immediate response from the founder of the company, Kristen who explained the source of the issue and offered to send me a replacement brush and a refund. She did explain to me that issue was as follows: “When a customer decides to return a brush to Amazon, they ship it back to an Amazon warehouse. At that time an Amazon employee takes the product out of the return box and makes a decision as to whether or not it is to be discarded or put back into Amazon inventory. I have told Amazon in the past that all of our returns should be discarded because they are sanitary in nature and should not be used by more than one person. Unfortunately, it appears that they are not following our requests.” I received my package from Kristen today and she sent me TWO new brushes and they were 100% brand new and wonderful. She exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perspective of her company and staff. I’m honestly happier now than I would have been if I got sent a brand new brush delivered from Amazon from the start. The brush works wonders when it comes to detangling hair. It’s very gentle and I noticed a lot less hair came out compared to using my regular brush or wide tooth comb. I haven’t gotten to use it on a knot yet but I feel very confident that I won’t be using the scissors on my knots anymore because this will work perfectly to get my knots and tangles out. I would now 100% recommended going with this company if considering buying one of these detangling brushes because no matter what Kristen, the founder of the company has a mission to make all of her customers completely satisfied. Thank you Kristen!!! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Was so excited to try out this new brush. After seeing it multiple times on TV I knew I needed to order one for myself. Being born with fine hair and choosing to bleach it every couple of months has led to multiple hair issues such as damage, breakage, slow growth, and tangling and knotting very easily. I’ve suffered with hair loss, bald spots and knots so bad that after hours of trying to get them untangled, I give up and just end up cutting out the chunk of my hair... So I am always doing research to learn the best, new techniques and remedies in order to have healthy and happy hair and this brush seemed like the perfect fix to my tangling issues. I choose this brand because it was listed as “Amazon’s Choice” and had a high rating with plenty of reviews so I figured it was a safe bet to go with this brand. I had ordered it with eight other things to get faster shipping and it arrived the next day with my other items in a fairly large box. When opening my Amazon package and grabbing the box with the brush inside, I immediately noticed the brush box was damaged and it looked like it had been squished or dropped. Since it came in a big Amazon box I knew that it didn’t happen during shipping so I figured it happened at the factory before being boxed up but it was just the box so I didn’t think much of it. When opening the brush box I immediately saw a dark hair on the brush underneath the plastic... Having blonde hair myself I knew there was no possible way it could have been mine so it was obvious to me that the brush had been purchased by someone else, returned and then shipped off to me which is why the box appeared to be tampered with. I’m pretty disgusted at the fact they would send me a used brush that had been returned. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t inspect the returned brush to make sure it hadn’t been used before sending it to someone else advertising it as a “new” product. The fact that they didn’t even take the time to inspect it or sanitize it during the time of a pandemic just goes to show poor management in my eyes. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and would recommend going with a different company/brand if choosing to buy this detangling brush. There are a lot of other ones that I’m sure wouldn’t be sending out used, returned brushes.

honestly this is my second time buying this, and let me tell you this is so gooodddd. one of the best hair brushes i've ever bought. this really does help detangle your hair. the pull (if there is any, usually none) doesn't hurt. i love the color, the durability, and honestly just that it exists. now i won't lie the reason i bought a second one is cause the first one i wasn't sure how to clean. sometimes when i brushed my hair it would get stuck so having to yank out all the hairs stuck on it one by one sucked. but i do recommend it!!

Comparable to my swissco! I've sworn by my swissco brush for the last 7 years but when my well loved brush start to lose it's spunk I knew I needed to buy another. I havent bought one in years as I purchased a few the last time. To my surprise they've tripled in price and no longer available at target. Crave came up in my recommendations for half the price and the large size was actually on sale so I figured lets try. It's nearly the same quality as swissco! It is actually a little more firm then a newer swissco but it gets deep into your thick hair catching every knot flawlessly! Super happy with this brush and that I finally found something comparable to swissco. For reference I have very long thick irish hair(down to hips) and my girls have thick curly Spanish hair... worked great for all of us!

This brush was a Christmas present and I love it. It was given to me to replace my Wet Brush and it's definitely a step up. It doesn't have the little ends on the bristles that can fall off and stab your head and it's design is fun and stylish. It has done a great job detangling painlessly and my hair looks great after brushing. I also love how easy it is to completely clean out...no digging for all the hair that is trapped! My daughter tries to steal it, so time to purchase another one. My only complaint is the handle size. I do like that this brush is more compact-sized for packing in my cosmetic bag, however it's hard to keep a good grip on. Great overall brush though! Thanks Crave!

I struggle with hair matting because of my depression, so it's always hard for me to eventually brush my hair with the brushes I have because it's always super painful and exhausting and hard to do, and it makes me debate on literally just shaving my head so I don't have to deal with it and so I can just start over. But this brush genuinely helped me relieve that struggle. I think the way you brush determines whether or not it'll be painful cuz there have been a few times where it hurt like a b*tch, but I think that was just on me because for the most part every other time I was just fine. But when I first got it I had a matted area that was like 4x3 inches, and it was working really great on it, no problems whatsoever. However, I made the mistake of not finishing, thinking I'd finish it later but later never came, which leads to today where the matting is even worse and again had me debating shaving everything off. But I remembered I got this brush, and started using it again, and it's working perfectly just like the first time. Obviously it won't fix it right away, dematting takes awhile either way, but I at least think this brush cuts that time on half. I only have 2a-2c textured hair, so I can't say how well it'll work for matting on kinkier hair, but for weeks/months of no brushing, sweating, dandruff, and scratching from psoriasis, this brush was amazing for helping me. The bristles don't stab the scalp (and when they touch the scalp it doesn't hurt), it's super easy to clean because there's no cushion under th bristles where sh*t usually gets stuck in all the time, the size and thickness are basically perfect, but if you have a bigger hand than I do you might want the bigger handle size. I love this brush, and I'll be getting more from them if I ever want another.

I think my search ends with this one. I have very hick hair. It covers it brilliantly. I honestly love how easy it is to clean. I use this while I shampoo and condition. The massage it gives is amazing. Spreads my conditioner easily. I clean it every single time I shower and it’s SO easy unlike other brushes where we struggle to get out all the hair. This doesn’t even hold dust. Breakage has reduced considerably. It’s actually zero now and better yet, I have no frizzy hair anymore. Love how compact it is too. Easily fits in my bag (not for sling bags) and the shape is really awesome to hold too. Pictures attached. It’s totally worth the price. Bristles are neither too hard nor too soft.

This brush works really well on my thick, wavy hair—no more painful tugging or breakage. It glides through knots easily and feels gentle on the scalp. The handle is comfortable to hold, and it’s made my hair routine so much easier.

I bought for my mom after she had a stroke and lost most of the use of her dominant hand/wrist. My mom had trouble using the brush she had in her non-dominant hand since the handle wasn't that big as well as got caught in a lot of tangles in her hair and this brush ended up being perfect. My mom loves it, it's easy for her to handle with easy, the handle is wide enough for her to grip and get through her hair. It catches fewer tangles and it makes it easier to detangle her hair with less tugging and pain for her. It's a must have especially for tangles and if you/someone you buy it for if you can't use your dominant hand.
