Could Not Be Happier With the Results!
I was debating on whether or not to purchase a new fireplace surround (the metal part surrounding the opening). It had really seen better days. Well, I sanded it down and applied this paint and no one believes that it is not a brand new surround. Looks terrific. Easy to do. Going to try to spruce up my grill next, cuz why not?

Very good product
Follow instructions well and your project will turn out well. I had no issues with the paint application. Paint adhered well with the prepped surface. I had a question pre-application and Forest Technical Coatings customer service was very helpful. I cannot rate its heat resistance and durability as I have only had the product on for 3 weeks at this point. Will come back later and amend my review after 6 months.

Best stove paint I’ve found!
I am restoring my second Fisher wood stove and after trying “Rust-Oleum High Heat” paint and being supremely disappointed, I ordered this by Stove Bright. What a difference! Other paint was dull and covered poorly. The Stove Bright paint covered beautifully and drys to rich and deep satin luster that brings out the details on the doors and provides a durable coverage and beauty that the other paint could not. Stove number 2 is a grand success and this is my go to paint from now on!

Works great but check manufacturer website.
This paint looks great. It’s pricy though and I’m kinda wishing I had just painted it with high heat Rustoleum paint that’s rated up to 2000 degrees and goes for about $8.50 a can. It does look good though. My advice to anyone using it though is to check their webpage on how to cure it. I was unaware that even after it drying for a few days that it would smoke and give off a rather unpleasant chemical type odor. Also make sure you slowly increase the temperature over the first few burns. My first burn went fine but it was a small one. The second was larger and that’s when I had smoking and bad odor. I also noticed in some of the hottest areas that some paint had flakes off from later paint coats. My third burn had less smoke but still had some and still a faint odor. Just make sure to have the area well ventilated the first few times otherwise you’re house will stink for about a day and your smoke detectors will go off like mine.

Great product, seems to self level too!!
I did two coats of paint on my XXV. I went through one can per coat. I highly recommend two cans for two coats. Well worth the extra cost for the quality of the paint.

The sheen is perfect
If you don't want matt or high gloss finish but something in between, this is perfect. The product also sprayed on well except when you first start. Be sure to expend some on piece of cardboard before spraying your project. I found that the first couple seconds sprayed some particles onto the metal and then that had me spraying right over them. This left a gritting finish but only where I started. After that the product dispenses well and look great. Think it probably has quite a bit of solids in the paint.

Adheres well, but terrible spray nozzle + coverage
It sticks quite well to the metal substrate. That said, the coverage is just awful. One can gets you maybe 2 square feet of acceptable coverage at most.
