A fine bottle of bubbly that won't disappoint
Created in South Africa with the "Méthode Cap Classique" - the production method used in the Cape, exactly like Champagne with secondary bottle fermentation. We enjoy this all year round and especially during the Christmas quaffing season and have only ever received compliments from our guests. Makes no sense to pay a ridiculous premium for the French version when this gem is available

Method Cap Classique. So it's good!
Absolutely great "sparkling wine" its MCC which means it's made exactly the same way champagne is made.

Superb Sparking Wine with a hint of Merlot
Elegantly presented with a couple of niggles... Print on the label isn't fixed as well as it could be with black text missing where it's come off. Bottle shape is bespoke and individual which makes the product feel important and exquisite.Methode Cap Classique produces a well finished product but the bottom of the cork didn't look 100% if I'm honest and reckon the bottle could have spoilt if left for a period of time. Appeared slightly darker in patches on one half.Once poured out the colour was lovely, fragrance was delicate and fruity. Bubbles were consistent and plentiful and didn't go flat easily. Onto flavour of the drink itself, I've seen various reviews saying it's up there with champagne, I'd disagree. It's not far off the mark and for the price it's certainly comparable but I put this between being a really good cava and a mid range champagne. As the product isn't saying that it's trying to be a champagne I'm going to rate this 5 stars as it is a great product for the equivalent price of £12.50 a bottle. Only one item was produced for the review of free product so just make sure the SKU delivers you three units.

Dry and exceedingly pleasant snap, crackle and pop!
I liked this a lot, and it even went down rather well with a friend inclined to immediately diss it because it wasn't champagne and wasn't French.Dry without being astringent, this was soft and very easy to drink, quite delicate. Good bubble all through too. It certainly felt superior to the usual sparkling wine when a budget doesn't run to champagne. I loved the combination of that somehow celebratory colour of a rose, with the fact that it wasn't sweet.

fruity and fragrant
Lovely! This is a South African Sparkling Rose wine that has a fruity, fragrant bouquet, and a light, refreshing, delicate taste which my family and I really appreciated and enjoyed. The bottle is attractive, eye-catching, and the bubbles are sparkling and plentiful! We found it to be very easy to drink - no aftertaste 'tang' that I have experienced with some other wines - and very more-ish. Perfect for a special occasion. a celebration, or a summer's evening with friends and family, I would be very happy to enjoy this again. Highly recommended.

Pongracz Rose Non Vintage Sparkling Wine
I have to admit I don't drink a lot of bubbly but I did find that this one wasn't completely to my taste. I found that it was quite overly bubbly to the point where it was hard to drink it. I found that drinking some that had been left in the fridge for 24 hours was a lot better to my taste. The overall appearance of the bottle was quite nice with the pink foil etc. As I've said I don't drink a lot of bubbly and if I do it tends to be a sparkling Zinfandel rather than anything else so I'm comparing the taste etc with that. I found that this was a lot drier than I'm used to, it tasted a lot more like a white wine than the rose I normally drink. Overall it wasn't bad but it's not something i'll get again.
