Tasty Ultimate: How to Cook Basically Anything (An Official Tasty Cookbook)

I own three tasty recipe books and I loved every single one of them as they guided me through my journey of learning how to cook. There are good directions and everything is sectioned off. It even shows you meal prep ideas.

I bought this for my sister's birthday and she loved it since she cooks a lot of different food. Some of them I've never heard of, but they taste really good. Tasty Ultimate is jam packed with foods to try, recipes to make, and gives a fun cooking experience. Its a great book to learn from. She likes the fact its an easy read simple to follow instruction book. Tasty Ultimate is not to be confusing at all, so don't get the idea its meant to be complex. Its meant to give a fun educational experience, if you really like cooking new foods that turn out amazing. A great cookbook for a great price. I'd give it 5 stars for sure!

I got this book for my cousin for Christmas. She is a pinterest fanatic and is constantly creating fun snacks and desserts. She was so excited when she opened this up and instantly found some recipes she wanted to try next. She loves the tips and tricks it listed as well. For young or new cooks, I recommend this book. Simple but classic recipes, clear instructions, easy-to-find ingredients and a lot of the recipes have videos online as well.

The first 30ish pages or so is all about learning specific things, from ingredients to cooking methods and whatnot for the beginners, and the next nearly 270 pages is all recipes and stuff. The book looks and feels great, but one thing I had to knock a star off for is the lack of pictures on a plethora of recipes. There's plenty that do have one but plenty more than don't and it makes no sense to not include them. Also, I think it would have been nice if a recipe is available online, either on their YouTube channel or elsewhere (usually the description takes you to a specific recipe location), the recipe in the book would have a QR code or quickURL to visit on your phone/Internet-accessible device to get the video/online recipe (which would also fix the lack of pictures too). Overall, it's a good book. You'll find tons of great recipes in here, both new and old, I'm just a tad disappointed not having pictures for every recipe. Helps give you a guide to know if you screwed up or what it 'should' look like.

I love Tasty. This book is great for new food ideas. Quality of book is excellent too.

I'm a collector of cookbooks and I love this one because it brings a different angle to recipes. I follow Tasty on Instagram and been drawn to their cooking style for a while so I figure why not purchase the cookbook so I did and glad I made the choice. I haven't made anything from the cookbook as of to date, but plan on doing so in the future. I also purchased the sister cookbook "Tasty Latest and Greatest" . Once I finish going through both, I'll begin to cook. PURCHASE THIS BOOK!

Several recipes I look forward to trying in this book bc they seem simple and tasty at the same time. I've made a couple already AND even made one twice and I just got the book. I think this book would be good for new cooks as well as those that have been cooking for years!

It is what it is. A guide on how to cook basically anything, from breakfast to brunch, lunch , dinner, vegetarian and so forth, a little in each category. it also has recommendations on what things to have in stock, in the pantry and how to do things like marinating, cutting meat against the grain and the purpose for it, cooking 101. Handy to keep in the kitchen. And of course you can with knowledge modify meals to fit your own diet. Have fun
