Had to replace the seal 6 months after getting it. Didn’t use it more than once every few weeks so it wasn’t because of over use. Ended up buying an entire new blender because it was leaking after another few months. Just get a good blender to start. This blender isn’t worth it.

The glass jar seems to be of good quality, and that’s the reason I bought this.I took away 1 star because the blade is not as sturdy as the one that came with my blender, and it bent a little when I was handling it without that much force. I’m not sure how it will perform when blending frozen fruits or ice cubs. I plan to use the old lid and blade with the new jar.The clear cap that goes on the black lid has ridges on the top edge, and my fingers were in pain when I was trying to remove it to wash it.The rubber gasket and the bottom cap seem of standard quality.The blade and bottom cap also fit my blender.

I was happy to find a replacement for my broken blender jar quickly and at a reasonable price. And, as advertised it is compatible with my Oster blender base.
