Like other reviewers, I too found to my amazement that the shaver plug adaptor contained a 1 amp fuse, now previously this adaptor had been working perfectly for years on items such as a rechargable toothbrush, a shaver, and with an old style phone charger. However once I used it on a EU plugged hand router, it blew the fuse in an instant. Now strangely enough I took a drive over to my local Sainsbury store and purchased a more modern version of this shaver adaptor only to find it carried a 13 amp fuse which worked just fine with my router, and just about any other two pin EU style appliance I cared to use it in conjunction with. So it would appear that the 1 amp fuse type adaptors are solely for minor appliances such as shavers only, and as such have now been updated and modified to facilitate larger charge pulling appliances. However I did recall that these fuses had been an absolute pig to aquire in the past, but as per usual, good old Amazon carry just about anything, and just inside 24 hours later, the fuses were on my doormat. My advice, Ditch the 1 amp fused adaptor and get yourself the heavier duty 13 amp type. Oh and yeah the fuses are a bitch to get into the fuse holder, but with a little patience and a little jiggering it around, it did finally fit almost inch perfectly with microns of space to spare.

I didn't know I needed these until my toothbrush charger stopped working. Eventually confirmed it was the fuse, so straight on to Amazon and bought a small pack. Nothing complicated here, easy fit fuse carrier into the mains plug and everything was back up and running. Always useful to have a selection at home - so now I've got one more!

Bought as shaver connection plug fuse replacement - whilst the correct BSI standard - the size is just fractionally too long and requires a strong push to go into the housing, but they work and are good value.

Well, it arrived on time. I have tried one at it works! Assume all the others work but may not know for many years. It is is a tothbrosh charger rather than a shaver BTW Not much more I could have expected.
