Very nice classic wooden checker set for our 125 year-old checkerboard. High quality and beautiful finish. Classic cotton bag with a drawstring, too!

They are lighter than expected. Would have preferred some that were heavier in weight.

I'm not sure why it's so hard to find 2 inch checker pieces, but it is. I'm really glad i found these. They are very lightweight but of good quality, and the colors match my chess board nearly perfectly. I do really wish that the bottoms had a rubber piece or something. They slide around very easy (which for some, might be seen as a plus) and are very loud when picking them up and jumping to other squares. Other than that, they are great.

These are quite nice. They are pool checker size which means they will fit a standard 2¼” (57mm) chess board. After more than thirty years of shunning checkers in favor of chess, I’m learning to play again the great game, that I grew up playing with my granddad. I’m also trying to learn to play pool checkers. Since I have chess boards I wanted 1½” inch (3.8cm) checkers to fit them. I was disappointed that these were not offered for sell in a white and red combination. They are offered in red and black, white and black, and these white and dark brown. I wish a red and white option would be available. If it becomes available, I’ll buy that red and white set. However, these look good on on my green and white Rechapados Ferrer wooden veneer chess board (shown), my roll up leather board (also shown), and on my olive green Flex Pad board from Chess House (not shown). These are attractive, in the European/ Italian wooden checker style. These are not legal for American checker tournaments, either ACF or APCA sanctioned events. Those require Crisloid checkers. They are a little light weight, but they stack well enough to make the game enjoyable. I’m proud to own them.

Better than expected! These wooden checkers are smooth, durable, & the perfect weight. The underside has a groove so they stack together without slipping. These are an excellent value for the price. I bought the 1.5” size and they are perfect for our wooden board. I highly recommend.

Fits the chess board I made perfectly. The pieces have a one inch diameter bass.

Had a problem with order but store fixed it. Happy with service. Came early. Nice quality wooden checkers. Easier to stack because of ridges. Thanks

The checkers are terrific, very well made! Size is perfect for our checkerboard table. Glad they came in there own storage bag!
