Pain Relief Powder, Cherry, 24 ct (Pack of 1)

This is such a great alternative to the plain BC powders which make me gag from the taste. Even with a strong tasting drink like soda or juice, that after taste is rough on me. But because these work so well on for my headaches, I tried the cherry out. It is wayyyy better. It reminds me of those pixie sticks we used to eat as kids. Much more palatable. Word of warning though! Use these in moderation!! Maybe two a week at most! These are really hard on the stomach and GI tract! I overused them and I just got out of the hospital after vomiting blood. I eroded my stomach lining and nearly killed myself in the process. Yes, these are VERY effective, but it is that very strength that makes them hazardous. So use bc powder for your very worst headaches, but dont do more than one a day-and I highly recommend skipping a couple days between uses. I am only 36 and I was only using these for a year. But I was taking one to two almost every day 😩 I was a fool.

This is a good product for migraines. The cherry flavor makes it taste better and easier to take. It dissolves well on your tongue unless you get to much at one time.

My review of BC Powder (original formula) explains how highly I think of the product. PROS (over traditions BC Powder): * Cherry flavor can be more palatable than nasty original * Sealed foil packets travel well, don't dissipate into purse, glove box, etc. This is a HUGE win, if you carry BC Powder with you everywhere, as I do. As frustrating as the "CONS" may be at times, this feature alone means that I continue to purchase this formulation. CONS (versus traditional BC Powder): * Cherry can be cloying or medicine-y (Yes, this conflicts with the "Pro" listed above. I'm sure different people will have different opinions about the flavor - and for me, it also depends on my mood, and the type of headache I'm experiencing). * Packets are not always easy to open. USUALLY they will tear nicely if you pinch and pinch and tear at the "TEAR HERE" indication on the package (see my photo) - but sometimes not. And if not, then usually no amount of tearing from other places or grips will get it open (until you get something sharp involved); needless to say that this most often happens when, and is VERY frustrating when, you have an especially bad headache. I'm going to ballpark this failure rate at around 20%.

These go down much easier then the regular ones do; flavor makes a big difference.
