It works as a styling gel but with very little hold for anyone that looks for that in a gel/ cream.Don't know if I'll buy it again, but it helps with styling.

You can't ask for much more from a hair product. It tames fly aways, reduces frizz, makes your hair healthy looking with a soft shine and never flakes or feels like gel. It's hands down my favorite product to use because it's consistent and you need so little to make it work so the bottle lasts forever. Use a pea sized amount and work it between stiff palms until you feel a little friction warmth and lightly run your hands through your hair in a downward motion. Can use right after the shower on damp hair or even when it's dry. Results are close to the same but dry hair is the superior choice because water resists oils. I have since switched to the grooming cream I because this product (groom cream II) is actually meant for thick hair and that doesn't mean thick (have a lot of hair) it means your individual strands are really thick. Either way this product works and lasts forever!

Favorite hair product for "style" but not hold.

When I saw this product on my barbers counter. She used it on my hair. The smell is what first attracted me to this grooming cream. Then I noticed, as she applied it to my hair that a small amount held my extremely fine fly away hair in place. I ordered some from, where else? Amazon. It will be arriving in a few days and is probably going to my new hair styling product.

I have shoulder length hair that I pay a good bit of attention to. One of the things I can't stand is the little wisps of hair I get, the new growths, that run rampant over my head, even with my hair yanked back into a sleek pony tail. This product keeps them in check while managing to not make my hair look greasy and wet all day long. I'm on my 3rd bottle. Highly recommend.

Love this stuff, however be aware when purchasing that you get the grooming cream 2, and not the grooming cream 1.. big difference same looking tube

Great for styling hair; great smell is a bonus.

Excellent hold but not stiff and hair looks great. I really like all MENSDEPT products.
