This jar contains freeze-dries lingonberries, which are similar to cranberries. Ideal to use as a topping for desserts or to have as a simple snack. It is quite sharp and tangy, ideal for people with these kind of tastebuds although I won't recommend it to those who have a sweet tooth. The container is small in size but there is a reasonable quantity od berries inside.

Pleasant flavour, would have slightly preferred a chewy texture - but will probably suit most people's tastes.

These are very tart dried cranberries but they're perfect for anyone like me who prefers tart/bitter flavours to oversweet ones. You always have the option of adding your own sweetening that way.I eat these sprinkled on my morning cereal/porridge/granola. If you leave them to soak in the milk/juice for just a short period, some of the tartness goes off and they soften nicely too.They aren't cheap, but they are top quality and you don't need many of them at a time. Plus, they come in a very useful, reusable pot, too.Recommended.
