Packaging OK. Survived delivery without any extra Amazon packaging. Arranged neatly inside & well protected. You receive the main pad, documentation, small peg stopper, some stickers and a cable. Cooling performance is great, allows for running high demand tasks without uncomfortable levels of heat. In this aspect the product entirely fulfills its purpose and looks great doing so. Under heavy loads, fresh thermal paste brought the laptop down from the 90s to high 70s, and this mat brings it down further to the low 60s internally. Only gets slightly warm externally when under load. It looks great and is a nice departure from the black and grey plastic we see in almost all other aspects of our lives today. There are problems though: - The USB-A to USB-A power cable is out of standard and may well be completely incompatible with many laptops right out of the gate without a suitable adapter. This cable also belies the cheap control innards that are found on many bargain bucket cooling mats. So no effort has been made here with the control components. - Power/speed wheel is on the rear, which means reaching around and fumbling. - The small peg stopper/bar that is included acts to prevent the laptop sliding down off the mat when the legs are extended. It is a very loose fit. A firm dowel style fitting would have been preferred. - This mat uses two individual folding legs to prop it up. They must be deployed for proper airflow. This is OK on a desk but annoying on a lap as they can dig in quite a bit if you have a heavy laptop. - It is nice that it lights up, but not optional. Those who prefer a dark environment or have certain light aesthetic requirements should avoid. At the end of the day, it's all good and the biggest problems I can get around with a bit of 3D printing. Not all with have the same luxury, hence the appropriate star rating.

I bought this pad as I recently got the 2020 MacBook Air. It is a massive investment for me so when I noticed it overheating while holding it on my lap, I ran to find a cooling pad. The pad feels like actual wood, and looks quite beautiful as a stand. There is a bit of plastic in the back as some reviews mention, but you can't really see it and I don't think it ruins the aesthetic at all. On the back, there is also an extra USB port and a little wheel to adjust the air coming out. The small piece of wood that attaches on the front is quite helpful when you are using it on a desk and want that extra support. It is attached to the back side of the pad, (Im assuming for packaging reasons) so don't despair if you don't immediately spot it when taking it out the box. Simply pull it out and attach on the correct side! My 13 inch Mac fits with plenty of room to spare, so this would be a great fit for a bigger laptop as well! The fan doesn't produce too much noise, it's very very subtle, and if you are listening to music / watching a show you wouldn't even be able to hear it. I found that after 5 minutes of turning it on, I got used to the white noise and forgot it was even there. I also needed to buy a usb-c to usb adaptor to plug this in. I saw another review saying that didn't work out for them, but I followed the manufacturer's instructions to plug in the adaptor first and then plug it to the power source and had no issue. It didn't even take me one minute to set everything up after opening the box. As for the performance of the fan, I found it works perfectly for what I needed. I don't run any heavy programs or anything so I can't attest to how it would work for you if you do, but if you need it for everyday use I 100% recommend. Im overall very happy with this product, and I'm super glad I purchased it!

I have been searching for over a month, and decided on this KLIM Bamboo Laptop Cooling Stand. Its real bamboo, looks amazing, and is better than all plastic, built well. Fan shroud on back is plastic and obviously fans as well, but it is blended in with correct colour and you cannot notice it in use. Fans run well, albeit not silent at full speed (adjustable on rear with a wheel) but not loud at all. The fans shine Blue LED, always whilst on! But I like it, as per pictures, looks good in my setup! Now, cooling! Running my Lenovo Legion, ( AMD 5800H and GTX 3070 (130w edition) along with 2 SSD ) without the stand sitting flat under 100 Percent Stress Test (Way more power draw than everyday use even gaming) the temps reach 84,7 C average with high of 87 after 10 minutes. On stand, Fan turned max, same test, 10 minute run, 77.4 C average along with SSD internal temps dropping 8C as well, High of 79 C. I could swap out fans for some 12v ones, and get even lower, but for the silence of these ones, I feel no need, it has made a difference and even allows the Clocks on the Laptop to increase 100MHZ flat out due to cooling envelope! Overall I am happy and impressed and feeling swish, Thank You KLIM!

Lovely and cool. It's been used a lot in this heat in a very sunny room, and the laptop's bottom has always been nice and cold. The cooler does its job. Two heights, legs toggle one way (short) or the other (long). Adjustable. Seems sturdy enough for an adult to use. I'm told that bamboo is a stable material that doesn't warp with temperature, so I look forward to many years of use. Well made. Well packaged in its box (to almost Apple standards!). Very artistic. The noise is audible to me, of course, but when I video conference (all day) no one I talk to online has mentioned it (and they do mention other noises, e.g. the clock ticking, chair scraping, doorbell ringing), so I guess it's quiet. No extra power needed; the cooling fans work off electricity supplied by your laptop via a USB. Easy! P.S. If you think you're missing a piece, look on the underside: the extra piece is cellotaped underneath!

Tem um acabamento em bamboo muito delicado, o ruido é pouco e o tamanho é super adequado ao meu portátil. O cabo de ligação para mim é um bocado curto, mas dá para comprar um maior. Muito satisfeita Obrigada!

It looks nice and keeps my laptop cool

I was doing my research on cooling pads for a long time, comparing fan sizes, speed.. of different products, watching videos on this topic, and at the end decided to buy this product and I am very happy with my purchase. This product feels sturdy and durable. Fans are great, very strong. Not another cheap plastic thingie. I like that: 1) it is from bamboo (looks better, bamboo has cooling characteristics, more environmentally friendly than plastic); 2) in case of some problem, you can unscrew and repair this cooling pad (not that I would expect any but you never know) 3) USB cable is a solitary product and in case of breakage can be replaced too, no need to replace the whole cooling pad ( this was a problem with my last cooling pad) Cools my Macbook pro like a charm ( cools down from temperatures when you cannot touch the MB to a nice cold device) You can hear the fan depends on how fast you run it but it is nothing disturbing. It is nice to feel the cold air during hot days. I was waiting for a product like this. Super happy with my purchase. Recommend 100%

Produit qualitatif, la ventilation fonctionne bien et n’est pas trop bruyante. Une molette permet de régler la puissance de ventilation. Je ne vois pas l’utilité des 2 ports usb vu qu’un sert à alimenter les ventilateurs et que l’autre n’est raccordé à rien. Recharge peut-être ? Il semble bien faire le job et refroidir mon XPS 9500 quand je me mets sur Battelfield 😁
