I thought this was going to be delivered in an over-sized flat box, eliminating my main concern that if shipped rolled up in a smaller box--the mat would not immediately lie flat on the floor. Well, the mat was delivered rolled up in a smaller box, but it immediately laid flat and that worry was eliminated. The mat is thin, but so far very sturdy. Being thin, it actually makes it easier if you roll your office chair off the mat, to roll it back on without feeling like you're hitting a curb. So far, 110% satisfied and the thinner construction has turned out to be a big positive. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness as it's only been 3 weeks since purchase and I want to see how it holds up longer term. Highly recommended at this point in time and I put this mat through a lot of 10-12 hour, high use days in my home office.

The mat came as promised and very quickly. It was rolled up as they said but I opened it up and it immediately laid flat with no creases or curling. It is a larger mat so it came rolled up as they said it would and I had no problem with it at all. I was expecting to have to put it in the sun as I read reviews that said it was hard to lay flat. I never had that problem and we have 8 inch wood floors. Although it didn't appear that it would slid at all on our floors which are coated the 25" lip fit perfectly so that I could slid just a fraction of it under the actual desk to insure it wouldn't move. Love the mat and it is protecting the floors now.

Bought for a laminate floor. Advertised as polycarbonate- this mat came rolled. You can not roll polycarbonate mats easily, as they are pretty hard, but they did it. Use extreme caution when unrolling. Will update in a month if it holds up, seems a little thin, but we will see. Also seems like it slides across the floor really easy, could be a trip hazard. Giving it 3 days to lay flat before using.

It doesn't move!

When I saw the box show up on my doorstep, and it was tall and skinny, I realized the mat must be rolled up. I expected the usual "Please allow 72 hours for mat to relax and lie flat" thing. But it came out of the box, sprang open, and is lying completely flat on our hardwood floor.It has a nice texture to the surface, allowing the casters on our office chair to roll; it's not so slick and smooth that the chair tries to get a way from you.I'm surprised by the quality. We only received it a couple days ago. It seems like it will hold up, but I can't vouch for durability until we've had it a good long while.

I have had this mat on the floor for 12 days and it came rolled up with a ridge in it that has not, NOT, flattened. I tried to upload pictures of this and even though the video is 4MB and over 5 seconds long and is an mp4 file it will not even allow me to upload the video so the manufacturer is lying about it and Amazon is not providing good customer support.

I was excited about this chair mat, as I've been using one at work that was intended for carpet. The nubs on the underneath had led to damage on the floor and cracking on the existing mat, so I was anxious to use this. However, the first time that I put it down on the floor when my chair wasn't on it, it spilled me on the floor like I was slipping on ice. Now we're not comfortable using it, as my chair might roll off of it, leading to a broken bone or worse. I'm not quite sure how this is intended to stay put on a hard/hardwood floor, but it is slicker than sn0t, and now I'm tasked with finding something to anchor this mat in order to use it. Make sure that you're aware of it before wiping out yourself.

I searched for these on Amazon as we have had all our downstairs refloored with new vinyl plank flooring. I was concerned that my desk chair rollers would mar the floor. I found 2 of these together and purchased the 2 pack as I will also need one for the chair on rollers in my sewing studio-so it was more economical for me. I also liked that these were shipped flat instead of rolled up. I had read reviews that complained about how long they took to flatten up after being removed from the tubular package. This was perfect for me, is a little opaque but you can see the details of the flooring underneath, and they were functional right out of the box-no odor that some had described from those who purchased other chair mats. I'm very happy with this purchase!
