Highly reccomended - economical and works
Firstly, it is a fan heater. It has to make some noise. It has 2 speed setting so the lowest is naturally quieter. As a heater goes, this is what you really need for a room I would say 4m x 5m maximum. Probably best in a room 3m x 4 m. Now the issue is cost to run. BEing a ceramic fan heater it heats the room and gives heat immediatly. At 400w it is not going to be the hottest off the bat BUT at 400w it is going to cost 6p an hour to run (at 15p per KWh)...... and that is economical. It has a very good timer function, so you can run this sucker for 4 hours straight at the highest level and it should cost about 24p in the process. Whats the point of running central gas heating when you only need to heat a room or 2 at a time? Gas may be cheaper per KWh, but it uses a lot of KWh to run. So to say it is cheaper to heat with central heating is not true in many cases, especially if your boiler is older and your radiators are filled with limescale making heating harder. Technology means they are making far more efficient and effective heater like these and you need to seriously consider purchases one or 2 of these babies for your home in winter.

Gives a good first impression but doesn't sustain output.
I was quite impressed with this heater at first. But it took me a while to figure out the behaviour. When you first switch it on, it pumps out good heat (400w) and so you think that's ok. Then you come back and think why is it only pumping out warm air and crank up the temp, wondering if the temperature of the room could really be as high as claimed. After a while, it goes back to warm air again even though the thermostat is at 32 degrees C. No way is the room anywhere near that, not even 20 degrees. Seems like the unit pumps out good heat for a short while and then slows right down to avoid overheating.

Compact, gives off good amount of heat for its size
We have just received this item,so we have not had time to see how reliable it is.I have tried it and it is neat and for its size gives off quite a bit of heat. The fan is quiet. It looks well made.We will have to just wait and see how reliable it is. Unable to give 5 stars as we have not had it long enough to see how reliable it will be. There is no remote control either

Worked well but a few personal issues
Very simple to use using the buttons. Works as expected; fan heater to heat a small area. A little noisy, some sound is expected as it is a fan but I found it louder than is ideal. My main problem was that it only directed heat at whatever was in front of it so having low down plug sockets the heat heated up at my furniture instead of heating the room

Compact and no cables trailing
Compact heater that has built in mains plug. It does heat the room slowly. It's 400 watts so fairly low energy for a heater but to be honest only outputs the heat relative to a 400 watt heater, so don't expect the same heat as a 1 or 2kw fan heater. Timer is a good feature, but temperature setting seems a bit hit and miss as setting to 20/21 even on a cold morning doesn't heat (need to put up to 25).

Small but warm.
With no heating in our kitchen I was looking for something compact to counteract cool air coming in through the door. This heater plugs in neatly and warms the area nicely, it also keeps my husband warm when he is helping me to do the washing up! Using only 400watts it is also more economical than large heaters. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Quiet good
Not that bad once you understand how to use it. I didn’t receive the Instruction inside but it keep warm and doesn’t eat to much energy

Cheaper than tv advertised product
Not a bad heater but when plugging into a conventional socket it is hard to switch the socket on/off. It is being used in a small conservatory and takes the edge off the temp however does not generate as much heat as I thought I suppose that's to be expected as it is only 400 watts
