This is a very convenient product. I try to eat blueberries as often as I can, and this has given me another way to add them into my diet. A few tips: it won't dissolve because its actual whole fruit (not juice), but it does blend well. Use a long spoon to scoop it out easily and neatly. Using a small measuring scoop tends to get my fingertips dusted with powder (although it is yummy!) I add a tablespoon to my morning protein shake. It blends in a shaker cup pretty smoothly in just water and pea protein powder. Tastes like real blueberries, so it is slightly more tart than sweet. I use a blue tinted plastic shaker cup, and I have not had any staining issues. I am careful to not get it on light colored clothing, though, because blueberries tend to stain. I will be buying this again before I am even out. I am also going to buy their other berry powders. That is how good this was: I just got it and am getting more!

I happen to like blueberries so I ordered this powder and I was not disappointed. When you open the bag the smell is intoxicating. Because they freeze dry the product the powder tastes so fresh. I mix it every morning in a smoothie or kefir. It is a completely natural product so there is some coloration on my tongue afterward but its worth it for the flavor. Color, smell and flavor are on point. Plus its organic and has all the high levels of antioxidants making this powder best in class.

After researching blueberry powders, I decided to purchase the Loov brand because it's organic and appears to be of great quality. I was concerned about one thing but decided to test it out myself...My concern turned out to be valid. I tried a very small amount of powder just one time and mixed it thoroughly with plenty of organic cottage cheese to dilute the pigment. Even with the small amount of powder, it promptly stained my teeth, mouth and tongue. Fresh blueberries do not stain like this because they are not as concentrated, but the powder is deeply absorbed by tooth enamel and creates a double danger for this reason: Blueberries are one of the highest acidic fruits. After you eat any acidic food, you should never brush your teeth for at least 30 minutes but best if you wait an hour or more. Why? Because the acid in the food softens tooth enamel and it takes an hour or more for your teeth to re-mineralize. If you brush before waiting, it will permanently damage and remove the enamel. And the double danger is that while the enamel is softened by the acid, it also absorbs dark food pigments more deeply in your natural teeth.You can confirm these facts on dental sites or ask your dentist.And this is interesting. I just went to Loov's own website and if you click in the menu for Freeze-Dried Organic Wild Blueberry Powder, you'll see a little girl with her deep purple tongue, face, and teeth. Cultivated berries will just smear you a bit."[End of Quote]So there you have it...The dilemma is: Are you willing to gain the health benefits of blueberry powder but risk damaging your tooth enamel, lots of dental trips, or having to bleach your teeth continuously? I eat fresh organic blueberries all the time (both cultivated and wild ) and never have this kind of staining. I rinse with mouthwash anyway after eating them but wait before brushing my teeth. But this powder does not rinse easily. I had to use several products. My teeth are healthy and will keep them that way!My solution: I'm going to look for organic, quality wild blueberry CAPSULES that contain the powder. That's how I take beet root daily - I buy organic beet root capsules that contain the powder here on Amazon. But I also eat fresh beets - they don't stain teeth because they are not acidic like blueberries - but beet juice and beet powder will stain because of the concentration.In summary, I do not question the quality of Loov's product. I just hope this will help prevent a dental nightmare for some buyers. I think it would be a very smart marketing move for Loov to consider adding blueberry powder capsules to their already abundant inventory of products. This will increase their sales and provide an option for those customers who care about this matter.

This powder has laboratory-proven antioxidant benefits. I like that it’s organic and wild-crafted. I use it in tea bags, and it brews a very intensely deep blue. I’m probably destroying some beneficial nutrients with the hot water, but I can’t have even decaf tea or coffee, so this is a very healthy substitute. I took one star off because the powder doesn’t smell exactly like fresh berries, but the company assured me it’s very fresh.

After moving to the US, I was not used to the blueberries that they sell here. They taste really bland. When I opened the blueberry powder bag, the first thing I noticed was the rich and bright color. It is absolutely beautiful! I love adding it to my smoothie and a bowl of plain yogurt with granola. I like that now instead of freezing bland blueberries for my smoothies, I can just add this powder. It is way more potent when it comes to nutrients!

This is my first experience with the wild blueberry powder, I usually try to eat lots of organic blueberries (since they are #16 on the current EWG guide list) when they are in season. Decided to give LOOV organic wild blueberry powder a try. I received the wild blueberry powder last week and have been adding it to my daily oatmeal. Have been really pleased with the taste and seem to have more energy throughout the day.

Package doesn't seal right.. doesn't taste like blueberries. Very messy during opening.. small portion for the price.. wont buy again
