It's really cute. I got it for my daughter. We both loved Kiki's Delivery Service and adore Jiji!

Really easy to set up and it's nice quality! Definitely worth it

Very cute and decently made - painted well enough and made the recipient fan of Studio Ghibli very happy. I’d give another star if it were USB-rechargeable, but chances are it won’t really be lit that often: it’s a decoration with optional light-up feature, not at all a lamp. So the included button-cells will probably outlast interest in switching it on ;-)

The kitten has a good reassuring weight and looks like the anime kitten, but not made well. One of the four whiskers was hanging out, on arrival, with whitish glue showing. I had to repair this. The basket and bulb hangs precariously and easily falls off. Do get instructions from the amazon page about how to use the light, as the item came with no instructions. Made in China.

Got as a gift, the reciever was very happy, though she was frustrated with sorting a bulb, she's disabled and she said it was a bit difficult.But otherwise, she loved it!

Cute little light. Perfect for my 9 yo, smaller that expected and paint work is not great but my kid loves it.

I’d had this on my wish list for ages so when it came up on a Lightning deal I did buy it now. It’s arrived today and I can’t believe the poor quality for how much it cost. If it was £3 I’d have accepted that, but this isn’t cheap and yet the quality is.As others have commented, the paintwork is rubbish and I stupidly thought this would be USB powered or something. It is very small which is why it’s probably not USB powered as it’s not big at all.I haven’t even bothered to work out how it works as I can’t believe how cheap it looks for what it cost. Paint on its face, scratches and bent whiskers.I’m disappointed and just wish I’d taken the time to read the reviews as I’d have saved my money and now time returning this.

Feels a bit generous to give this one a 2 star, but here we go.Pros: The base feels weighty, but not too heavy.Cons: the paint quality is not good. The pictures I've posted were how I took it out of the box. The first picture I've included looks like holes or damage by the eyes. The light is easy to knock off, could do with a fixture to keep it there. No instructions included in box, and it's fiddly to turn on and off without removing the bulb from the lamp. Size as expected. Don't know about battery life, checked it over for about 30 seconds and will be sending back. Was going to be a gift, but I wouldn't want to give this to someone. Sending mine back.
