This was a perfect fit to my 2011 Chevy Avalanche.
The product was a perfect replacement to the original and matched the color and texture of the other existing plastic panels on the truck. There are no instructions of course with the part so it is a bit of a challenge to figure out the method of assembly to the truck. Essentially, After cleaning of the old tape residue from the top of the tailgate i was pleased to find that the "Tailgate Cap Top Molding Trim Spoiler (without camera hole)" came with double sticky back tape already applied and in place on the Spoiler. The spoiler also had the six body clips assembled for insertion into the face of the tailgate as well as one more body clip and steal stud at the base of the handle opening for insertion again to the tailgate face. NOTE: A new nut is not included for the steel stud. Don't throw your old one out, you will need it. Assembly begins with removing the inner tailgate cover panel (10 Torks Screws). Peal back a short length of the double sticky back cover on the tape at one end. Just enough so it will stick out when the spoiler is in place against the tailgate. I added some duct tape to the end of the tape cover sticking out so i had more of a "tail" to hold while minimizing the amount of sticky tape exposed to prevent it from grabbing the tailgate before i had the spoiler in position. Working with another person is best as you hold the Spoiler up to the it's position on the tailgate (note: tailgate is close at this point). Begin on the end without the tape "Tail" and begin aligning the top body clips to there respective holes in the tailgate. The spoiler is self centering so once you get the first couple of body clips on top of there holes you can gently move the spoiler back and forth (moving horizontally right to left and back) to help the remaining upper body clips to their holes. Note: Be careful of the steel stud at the base of the handle opening so as not to scratch the paint. When the upper clips are aligned to there holes, then ensure the clip and stud at the bottom of the handle opening are aligned to there respective holes and begin pushing the clips in across the spoiler. Once the clips appear to all be inserted you can give a firm wrap with your hand at the clip locations to ensure full clip insertion into the tailgate. At this point, open the tailgate and place your saved nut on the stud protruding into the tailgate and snug. The Spoiler should now be self-centered and in position on the tailgate. Next have one person gently pull back a little bit on the lip edge of the spoiler moving ahead of you to create a little relief as you pull the tape cover "Tail" up and off the double sticky back tape. As the Spoiler is already attached and centered by the body clips the tape will now just attach the spoiler to the top of the tailgate naturally. After all of the tape cover is removed, press the top of the spoiler firmly to achieve full tape adhesion to the tailgate. Lastly, reassemble the tailgate inner panel and torks screws. Close the tailgate and you should be good to go!!

Looks great and fits great. 20 minute fix!
Perfect fit and easy to install. Clean everything (sticky old 3m tape) off first an wash and dry very well. Then peel back a very small (1 inch) of the red adhesive cover and leave that little tab sticking out. Install the cover and once in place then remove the red tab adhesive cover and press it into place.
