These birthday candles are exactly what I wanted — long, slim, and very elegant. The gold color looks gorgeous on a cake and makes the presentation feel extra special. They burn evenly and come with holders, which makes them easy to place and stable on the cake. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them for celebrations.

I wanted something more dramatic or elegant, instead of the usual birthday candles, and took a chance on these. Wow - what a difference it made! These are incredibly tall (nearly 9" high), thin, and VERY elegant looking candles! The cake itself was an Art Deco design, and these candles were perfect. There were NOT fast-burning (which is MUCH appreciated!) - and, in one word: Classy. RECOMMEND

I thought the candles did a great job. The only thing is you have to be careful taking them out of the packaging and putting in the little holders for the cake. They are a tad bit fragile, but once you get them on the cake, they are quite lovely.
