Perfect for my needs to brighten the corners by our kitchen table. Color is a rich burgundy when not lit; a soft red when lit. I put 25 watt bulbs in these lamps, which give off a soft accent light during the day and a quiet, comfortable light at night after the dishes are done and we're sitting by the fireplace in the kitchen. These lampshades were a bit pricey, in my opinion, but I put them on $4.98 lamps, and it works for me, so I guess it evened out. I did need to also buy halo converters for each lamp (clips that go on bulbs and have the nut and post to receive the lampshade), but even with that extra expense, I'm happy with the look, so it's all good. These lampshades are very sturdy, and the material is high quality and has a rich color, which goes beautifully with our curtains as pictured. Would recommend!

Photos are off with room light on, only light on and light with natural light from window. This was the only shade I could find with enough length to cover the on/off switch and not overwhelm the lamp. Took my grandmothers hand made lamps and gave them a 3rd life. They went from grandma to mom to me. 3 generations. I took them apart, cleaned each piece and reassembled them. The glass, I discovered, looked like a charming, small decanter with holes drilled out of the bottom.

The lamp I wanted that came with a navy shade was significantly more than the exact same version with an ivory shade so I purchased this to switch the shades out. Fits perfectly and looks amazing.

this seller offers 30 day refund if damages, etc. This is not true, I opened the box, looked inside did not even take it out knew it was too small and tried to return. The seller is charging more than half of the refund to return the item for shipping charges even though they advertise 30 day full refund.
