Exercise Bench

Man o man this bench is AWESOME!!! thank goodness i paid no mind to some of the nevative reviews here!!! First of all i have been training pretty hardcore since my late teens and still going ( 50 years) and still go heavy on most compound moves ( squats, bench, deadlifts, military presses e.t.c) sometimes im straight up only doing powerlifting other only bodybuilding style lifting so i either go to the gym or train at home since i have a squat rack, 475 pounds of free weights at home, olympic bar, you name it i got it at home but the gym is still the gym, i have a joe weider bench i boughf in 1995 ( 25 years) and still going strong but its time to upgrade to a foldable to have extra space in my apartment, i researched lots of benches ( foldable) and was going to purchase 1 of 3 more expensive ones i had on the cart but my gut feeling said dude go with the most inexpensive one since you dont even have to adjust one single thing like all the others and boy im glad i did. I didnt have to do a single thing, just open box, take off plastic and ready to go!! The steel feels heavy duty not cheap, my bencg came very well made and no wobbling at all!## coincidence it was chest day when it arrived so i skipped the gym and trained at home with my brother who was gonna meet me at the gym. Bench press i went up to 315 pounds ( NO PROBLEM NO WOBBLE) MY brother went up 365 on bench ( NO PROBLEM NO WOBBLE) i weigh 205 pounds solid and my brother 225 solid muscle. I got 285 on the incline and my brother 300 on the incline...we had no issue if we wanted to go heavier at home....this bench for the price and man folds so small u can put it anywhere, the box looked so small.when it arrived cause it was folded and very light, i didnt even look at the instruction book, it was soooo easy how to figure everything out. All everyone talks about is incline, flat and decline on reviews but this bench is superb...it gets into a perfect seated position for military presses or seated dumbell curls e.t.c, some of the other foldable benches only start at incline and dont get into the seated position like this one. Anyway take it from me who has been training since the 80s...for a home or garage gym set up this bench is awesome and at a great price and you dont have to assemble one single thing, UNHEARD OFF!!! im sure this will last me for years just like the non folding weider one i had....HIGHLY RECOMMEND for home or small.apartment with limited space or just for a regular garage or house type gym...i dont see any sense with going with more expensive ones, too many people here on amazon complain about every single.thing they buy!!#

As a new mom it was proving extremely difficult to make it to the gym. I was doing body weight workouts at home but was limited to what I could do without any sort of gym equipment apart from my dumbbells. I wanted a flat bench at the very least but didn’t have the space in our home to store it. This was just what I was searching for. I’m able to add many more exercises to my home workout, doesn’t take up much space to store it, and it’s super sturdy yet also light enough for me to easily carry it from storage to the living room. The padding is great, the pins are easy to pull in and out for adjustments, no assembly was necessary, and the cushion has an elastic strap so it’s easy to take on and off and can be put at any point on the back of the bench. Even folding the bench is a breeze, just pull the 4 pins out and pull up on the handle between the seat and back. It’s easy to carry and even has a metal handle on the side to also carry it vertically. I even use the bench for my ab workouts by putting my feet under the ankle pads to weigh me down as I do sit ups. Amazing value for such a low price. I love it!!

I love how easy it is to store this item when not in use. It is just as simple to assemble the product and use it conveniently. It is great quality and seems pretty sturdy for what I use it for. The bench has some weight to it which is preferred when you want it to stay in place while in use. The surfaces make for easy cleaning.

Just got it today and I am very pleased. As it says, it comes fully assembled. You just unfold it and slide the foam rollers on. There are three pins to lock the seat, back and ankle brace in place with multiple adjustments, and one large pin for the main hinge, plus a metal brace you use to lock it in the folded position so it stays closed while carrying it. Very easy to fold and unfold so it's ideal for my crowded apartment, although I will likely leave it set up most of the time.It also has a handle on one side you can grab to carry it like a suitcase, along with a nylon strap at the main hinge to lift and carry vertically if you want. It feels very stable although there is a very small wiggle in the structure simply because it's depending on the pins in the braces to hold it up, but it doesn't look like it's an issue during use. I've stepped up and down on it to test and it's very sturdy, as well as when sitting.The back adjusts to around 80, 60, 50, 35, 20, and zero degrees above horizontal. The seat adjusts to around 0, 9 and 16 degrees.

I ordered this bench after reading reviews and researching best quality / best price options for a small room home gym. I was pleased when I opened the box and found this packaged well - wrapped and protected. The instructions match up with the online video so there were no surprises, this assembles in a minute and becomes the star of the show - opening up some past favorite exercises usually done with free weights. I'm 5'11" 200 lbs and the bench is a perfect fit, it's sturdy and has no indication of even a small wobble (I'm on carpeted floor also), the adjustments are quick and easy to get what position you'd like....and it even folds up quickly if you need the space. Overall this is exactly what I had hoped it would be - certainly not a high dollar commercial bench, put ideal for the lack of abuse it'll get in my small home gym with resistance bands.
