Ocryl - Eye Lotion for Dogs and Cats - 135 ml

Great eye lotion and trusted company, I purchased this cos the original brand I use was sold out everywhere. My dog had a lot of tearing from injury pain, this doesn't get ride of stains (i don't think any of them do) but it helped minimise staining and you can see from the cotton pad that it really cleans, even when my dogs eyes didn't look bad and I wiped with this lotion you could see so much brown/orange on the cotton pad. Having a Lhasa Apso I used many different types of eye lotions/tear stain removers over the years and high end expensive brands and this one seems to be just as good as the original brand I usually use.

This stuff has been amazing for my girl, as you can see in the pictures. Her tear stains were so think and down almost to the skin. The hair around her eyes was also soaking wet and I couldn’t keep it dry. The vet recommended I try this and after trying loads of things I was hesitant, but it’s worked. I use it once a day on a cotton pad to clean round her eyes and then I put a drop in each. She’s been groomed twice since using it and the stains have completely gone and the fur round her eyes is dry. I’ve combined using this with giving her filtered water from a stainless steal bowl.

This looks like it is beginning to work after just four days. Highly recommend

I am very late reviewing this item, sorry! This is the ONLY eye lotion that works for my WHITE Maltese terrier. The dog actually enjoys having the lotion applied and the fur is back to white completely in 24 hours. I would highly recommend this product. Many Thanks.

Works well at soothing and cleaning the dogs eyes.

I have tried many different eye cleansers etc for my Bichon's tear stains, with limited success. I want to leave a review with before and after photos for the 'Ocryl' Eye Lotion because although I was a little apprehensive, and it is quite expensive, it has been amazing. The bottle will last a long time as you only need a small amount. It does not irritate the eyes. As another review had mentioned, this does not remove the tear stains from the fur already stained around the eyes. What it does do is cleanse the eye area with continual use over a couple of weeks preventing further tear stains, then as your dog is clipped the stained fur gradually gets cut away leaving behind new white growth in its place. I started using at the beginning of November and as you can clearly see from the photos, my dogs fur around his eyes is now lovely and white! It is part of the daily routine now to gently wipe Ocryl around the corner of his eyes with a cotton wool pad. I absolutely recommend to any dog parent with a White Furry Dog :-)
