Pricier than I wanted, but it worked
Bought this for an Alienware X51 R3 that I got from some sketchy dude at a game exchange. This power supply works. It’s significantly bulkier than the 180w PSU, but if you take that horrid GTX745 out and give it a respectful GTX 1060 FE, you’re gonna want this PSU.

Is adequate
My laptop has a broken battery so if the power feed stops for even an instant it will die. My old charger had some frayed wires so it was a pain to twist in proper position for every use, hence why I bought this charger. The cord to the charger block does not fit the best so my laptop would randomly die from the separation. Fortunately the cord to the block from my original charger fit perfectly and haven't had any issues since combing the pieces. So as long as your battery isn't broken this charger should do just fine, but if it is check to see if your original cord will help.

Just as good as factory version
The unit is well built and serves its purpose. I purchased to replace my daughter's power supply that the strain relief failed and the cables pulled out. This unit is perfect and the price is better than most at $50.

As described, a good replacement
I bought this to replace my Alienware 17 power cord which stopped functioning due to a loose connector after 4.5 years of use. This model had the same stats as my previous adapter. The item arrived promptly in secure packaging and was the size of the adapter it was replacing, which is larger for an adapter. I would purchase from this brand again without hesistation for any adapter replacement needs.

Works great, no issues.
Has worked great after several months of extended use. Does get a bit warm, but that should be expected of a psu of this size.

Does exactly what I need it to do
What more can I say, laptop was dead, old power adapter had a frayed cable. This filled the exact need I had. Laptop is working great now. Problem solved.
