Tried & True Cowboy Jeans
Traditional fit jeans made of substantial, soft denim. Not "slim" or "relaxed" fit. Not "washed" or deep navy color. (Cut and Sewn better than Levi's seem to of late.)

Loving these "not so ordinary" jeans
I was a little leery of this new type of jean. After reading a couple bad reviews, I almost didn't try them. I'm so glad I pushed past the negative and gave them a try. I work outside in the Midwest where the summers are hot and humid. My sweat line is usually around mid to low thigh. Sounds gross, I know, but it is what it is. I was tired of my jeans getting soaked and just hanging heavy while sticking to me every time I knelt or crouched down. The description of this product appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. As it turns out, they were. They felt a little weird when I first put them on. They fit properly. The waist is mid height, the rear is complimentary, the leg room is normal, and the leg openings fit over my work boots nicely. However, they didn't feel exactly the same as regular cotton jeans. That is, of course, because they aren't. The majority of the "weird" came from the fact that these are regular fit while I usually wear relaxed fit. So, they were a little more snug around the thigh and butt. Not tight, just not as loose as I am used to. I thought this would be an issue since the whole reason I wear relaxed fit is for the extra room to accommodate my work routine. To the point, the jeans performed extremely well. It was 90 degrees with 70 percent relative humidity. I worked up a sweat, as usual, but my jeans didn't stay saturated. They definitely dried a lot quicker than expected. In addition, I didn't have to keep tugging and adjusting my pant legs to allow for crouching and kneeling. The flex in these jeans took proper care of this issue. Bottom line...these jeans fit well and performed above expectations. If you are a "purist" and are insistent upon traditional feel, these jeans aren't for you. However, if you are open to a slight change that increases flexibility and decreases dry time then try these on for size.

Short pockets
My husband is unhappy about the size of the pockets. Otherwise, they fit well and look good.

Good quality
I am always trying to keep my husband in good quality and fitting clothing. These jeans are the best we have found so far for big and tall. He never struggles with length. Also, he is hard on pants but these last so well.

Good for the hot weather
These are the jeans to wear in hot, humid weather if you want to wear jeans. They do seem to run too long and the pockets are not deep enough, as has been mentioned. I use them for the hot months and then go back to my regular Wranglers. 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the skimpy pockets.
