Tusco Products Round Saucer Planter Tray, 22-inch, Slate

I have an enormous pot planter that is really for outdoors that I have indoor. My plant grows so large and I was tired of repotting them (and have since added 2 more huge stalks to the planter pictured) that I bought a huge planter but then I needed a huge saucer tray. I got this at a great price as I purchased one someone had returned which was the same price as the 26”. It’s very sturdy (to the point that the entire pot sat on the edge as we were moving the pot inside it and it didn’t crack!), it’s a great tan color, and because my plastic pot is so large, I really like the amount of space available to deal with extra water runoff or even the possibility of watering from the base now if we’re gone for long periods of time. Great quality and buy.

I upgraded from a 12" terra cotta planter saucer filled with water and placed on the ground to a beautiful blue ceramic pedestal birdbath, but my backyard birds were not fans, even when I spent more and got a little solar fountain for it. So, I decided to go back to ground-based baths and chose this one for its large size (26" diameter), natural sandstone color, and reviews that supported its durability. I've been using it as a ground-based bird bath for several months now and have many birds splash, bathe, play in and drink from it every day. Even birds who don't live in one of my trees regularly stop in for a swim. It's a fantastic product that's super durable and easy to clean/spray out with a hose. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Wow--this thing is really big. I ordered this for a ground bird bath and water source for the rabbits and chipmunks. I had a hard time finding a clear spot that large in my flower bed for it, but I like it. The color is great and blends in well with my cypress mulch so it's really not noticeable. It's deep enough for the birds to splash around in and seems like it will survive in all seasons. I gave it 4 stars because it's a bit floppy--stable enough once its on the ground, but the plastic is not as sturdy as I expected. Still, if you are looking for a large ground bird bath, this one works well.

We ordered these to go under a large, heavy houseplant. The 12" saucer is a bit larger than anticipated, but it's attractive and appears to be durable and will catch drips when we water the plant, which was our goal. It is much more durable plastic than a cheap plastic plant saucer we previously owned. Because the website lacks detailed dimensions -- which would have been helpful when we ordered -- we provide these dimensions for the 12-inch saucer (even though Amazon applied this review to the 11-inch saucer we ordered later): 12-inch saucer: Inner diameter at the base (where the pot will sit): 11 inches. Inner diameter at the top rim: 11.75 inches. Outer diameter at the top rim: 12.5 inches. Outer diameter at the base, where the edge flares out a bit: 13.375 inches. Later, we ordered the 11-inch saucer. Actual dimensions: Inner diameter at base: 9.5 inches, which is perfect for our use; outer diameter at the base, where it flares out a bit: 11.75 inches. Inner diameter at top rim: 10.25 inches; outer diameter at top rim: 11 inches.

Works great for my felt potato pots to keep it from drying out so quickly this plant saucer allows a reservoir. I'm also an earthbox grower. These these saucers have the look and feel of the durability of the Earth boxes. If so they will last a lifetime. I know of some Earth boxes that have are still going through strong after three decades! Also it's great to know that they are made in the USA!

I bought this 26” saucer to use as a bird bath. I bought a fountain on Amazon which works great but it sprayed the water outside my standard 20” birdbath and ran the water out within a couple hours. This works great! It took a few days for the birds and squirrels to use it-they don’t seem to appreciate anything new-but now they’re used to it and enjoy it. I added some rocks to hold the fountain in place and for the birds to stand on, and don’t fill it up all the way since they prefer shallow water. The sound is very soothing too. It’s perfect!

This is a really good product. Heavy Duty and will hold up to the weight of the pot and plant. I thought it was a little expensive at first, but it is definitely worth it. It arrived very quickly as well.

Excellent for large outside planters!

I have a very large planter in my patio that I needed a base for. I found it quite hard to find a base that was big enough. It is also quite confusing to understand the pot measurements of various products online. But I finally found this product and it fits my large planter perfectly. It is made of a very heavy duty sturdy plastic resin and I'm sure it will last forever. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Significantly thicker plastic than I had anticipated. It feels appropriately beefy under an 80-pound planter.

I was very pleased that these were available in Canada as a friend in the USA recommended them to me. I wish there was more selection of colours and sizes available here that there is stateside but I guess we can blame Covid like for everything else. Fully recommend this product as finish and quality is there and although I have not used in over winter yet, I sense its built for it.
