Perfectly stimulating
I am an avid crossword puzzler and I like this book a lot. It is "easier" than some I have, but I wouldn't classify it as "easy". The subjects are widely varied and there isn't a lot of repeat questions (which I hate). Wherever I go I have at least one page folded up in my purse. Some days of mine can be spent in too many long lines, and waiting rooms, so this book serves me well.

Now this is a book you can enjoy!
One of the rare books that doesn't require years off experience with difficult puzzles to be able to solve!A nice change from PuzzleWright. Two things kept me from giving it five stars: 1. Not enough puzzles for the price. 2. Pulp paper.

Love this series
Love this series. Can't get enough of them. Some are repeats from other books but helps me to feel successful.

I really like these puzzles
I really like these puzzles. They are challenging but not so hard as to be impossible to complete. I also like the spiral binding because it makes it easy to do each puzzle.

The spiral binding...
Spiral binding allows easy fold back. These are just my level. They are slightly challenging to give plenty of satisfying ah-ha's. I do get annoyed at the same words showing up in different puzzles of the same book. This is my fifth "easy crossword puzzles" in the series. Rick nobadbabynames.com

Volume 14 NYT Crossword Book
All these NYT Crossword Books are the best.. There's other good Monday-Tuesday Puzzles books out there by other companies that are good.. But the NYT crossword series and Will Shortz are just the best.. The puzzles are doable, but not too easy.

Neither an “easy” nor a “quality” book
Many puzzles contain ridiculously long sentences from some little known play or novel and some rare and also quite a few foreign language words. Some entries contain urban slang or words that exist only in the creator’s mind. The vast majority of the rest of the clues come from pop culture hinting at some character on a TV show, movie, play, novel, sports team, etc. On the other hand, some puzzles require deep scholarly or scientific knowledge. Thus neither a celeb wannabe nor an erudite person can deal with all puzzles. When creators are in a hurry they create onomatopoetic entries that do not appear in any dictionary. And the first three letters of any word constitute, in the creator’s mind, an abbreviation! Another problem is a clue that starts a sentence that only the Delphic Oracle could complete it. Finally, editing for typos is non-existent. On p. 1 the clue for number 32 is printed “35” while on p. 20 the city of Paris is spelled “Pairs”! The only good feature of this book is that it is spiral bound.

The spiral works great too.
These are very handy on the road due to large print and having all the clues on the same page as the puzzle. The spiral works great too.
