Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Violet-Toning Shampoo 8.4 oz

My thought after just ONE use is WOW, this stuff actually works! If you are shopping around for a purple shampoo ((that actually tones the hair)) STOP and buy Fudge. As a former hair stylist, I am shocked that I haven't seen this in any hair salon. I wish I would have discovered this years ago, for personal and professional use. Aside from actually toning the hair, this shampoo also made my fine, dry, colored treated hair feel soft and healthy. For any negative review that claims this shampoo doesn't work, it's probably because they either didn't leave it on long enough or their hair is too dark (brunette with orange highlights) and they would need a BLUE shampoo in that case. My usage recommendation: apply to darker brassy/yellow areas first (roots to mid shaft) and let sit for about 5 to 10 min. Run through the ends and be sure not to let it stay on bleached/white areas too long, the hair will turn light ashy purple.

I have dark hair that I have colored blonde. This shampoo is the only one that has ever worked for me to get away the yellow. I don’t use the conditioner, only the shampoo and it works great. The longer you let it stay in your hair the better the effect. Only downside is that I need to use this every time I wash my hair, otherwise the yellow will come back if I only use a another shampoo

I’ve probably tried every blonde shampoo over the last year to try and find that perfect balance of maintaining my blonde from not looking brassy and yellow. Struggle is real. There are brands that are ok. Biolage and not your Mother’s purple shampoo are decent. They won’t brighten it but will at least prevent it from full on yellow. This one though, will actually brighten and whiten your blonde. My stylist seen me this weekend after it has been 4 weeks since my visit. She commented on how bright my hair still looked. Yes it will turn your hair purple. Yes it will turn your hands purple. But honestly that is the only way you know you have a good shampoo IMO. Use gloves in the shower or wash your hair over the sink. I usually let sit for 5-6 mins depending on how much brightness I want. Rinse your hair completely till the water is clear. Occasionally I’ll fond a purple hue strand after the first wash which fades the next time. Find your balance. But I promise you this is the best product I’ve found

My hairdresser always recommended framesi color lover purple shampoo that I bought at the salon for years. Then I decided to bleach my hair myself during COVID-19. During my research I saw this product and omg!!! It works so well!!!! My yellow brassy hair is now a nice ash blonde!!!! This really works! It’s not as thick as the other one but works so much better!!! I used it as a toner once and it really brightened my hair and I had bad yellow roots that are now gone! It worked for me!

I have used many different shampoos meant to remove yellowing on my silver white hair. However, over time I noticed a yellowing of the older hair. I decided to try "just one more." I am glad I did. I actually applied the product to my dry hair where it was yellowing. I left it for a few minutes and then apply water and shampooed. What a delightful surprise: yellow gone. I did not use any conditioner and my hair is soft and manageable.

I really like this product. It gives me the ability to go a few extra weeks between salon visits. It really does take the yellow/brass tones out of blonde hair. The only negative I’ve experienced is my hair seems to be much drier after using this product. To combat the dryness, I’ve done an EVV olive oil soak for 5-10 minutes to return oils to my hair.

This brand was recommended to me from a friend. It is affordable, and to my surprise smells really quite good as most purple shampoos have the same smell. I find this shampoo pretty good at toning out the brassy blonde tones, after using it a few times. You can mix a little in with your normal shampoo every time you shampoo. I recommend using a good conditioner after every time you shampoo, but this is the most moisturizing purple shampoo I’ve ever used too, most are really drying. I have not tried the conditioner yet. I will purchase again.

Absolutely fantastic shampoo! Works perfectly and I am extremely impressed. I bleached my hair, used toner, had to bleach two more times, and I couldn’t use toner again because my hair was already in a bad spot. I don’t think I will ever use Wella toner again. I am not sure how much “repair” was actually done with this, but my hair feels a lot better than it would have with one use toner. I tried some other slow toning shampoos with no luck, but this did the trick. I bought and used the conditioner as well.

Love this purple shampoo. I’ve used many purple shampoos and this is the best I’ve found. Turns your hair to ashy blonde. Keeps the condition good to as other ones I’ve used have dried my hair out. If your hair is on the dryer side, just don’t leave it on for too long as it can turn it blue/purple. But, out of all the purple shampoos I’ve used. This is the one I’ve stuck to.

This product is simply fantastic. I would give 10 stars for the product itself, however the deliver was messed up hence 4*. Otherwise, amazing product. After applying the product, brass and golden highlights were suddenly replaced by silver and ash, just like the original color. I am loving it.

Really impressed with this blonde shampoo – it brightens and tones without drying out my hair. Leaves it feeling clean and refreshed. I’d definitely recommend using the matching conditioner too for added softness and shine. Great duo for maintaining blonde tones!
