Mountain Falls Daily Moisturizing Lotion Skin Protectant with Natural Colloidal Oatmeal, Fragrance Free, Compare to Aveeno, 8 Ounce

I bought this lotion to round out a Prime Pantry box, figured it couldn't be awful. I was surprisingly pleased. This lotion is light, moisturizing, helps amazingly with a problem eczema spot that I have to treat multiple times per day, and is SO inexpensive compared to the name brand. This is definitely becoming a staple for our household!

This very similar to Aveeno, but it is a tad wetter. Just so you know. It's hard to tell, but it is definitely a bit thinner. However, that does not affect the way it works. Great lotion especially at 1/3 the cos!

I've been using this on my legs before I climb into bed at night, and I think it's great. It absorbs quickly, and it's not oily, I don't even notice its presence until I get dressed in the morning. Then I only notice that my legs are nice and soft and I can see they are not dry.I liked it well enough that I placed it on the countertop in our master bathroom, and my husband gave it a try one evening. Next morning he came to me to feel his hands. He was greatly impressed. His hands were very soft. We were both pretty amazed. (Hand-holding was nice, too.....)EaI have learned that I like different lotions for different areas of my body. I want something easy to apply on my legs, since there is so much surface area. I want something that absorbs quickly so that I don't have to spend too much time working it in. I don't want oily, because it messes with my ottoman, my sheets and my socks. And, with application on my legs, I don't much care about scent. And my husband really appreciates a non-scented lotion. So this is a double win for us.

Around this time of year I struggle with dry skin and eczema.I'm always on the look out for different types/brands of lotions as some can be more drying and others can be too oily/greasy. I haven't heard of this brand and I didn't know what to expect; this lotion is definitely non scented which is nice but sometimes I want something with a scent. But if you're looking for something without a scent then this is for you! The formula of it itself isn't too bad, it's not TOO oily like some other lotions and it absorbs quickly.... in my opinion a little too quickly and I find myself having to put MORE on just to feel like I covered all the area's I'm looking to cover.Overall, this seems like a really great every day, during the day kind of lotion... until my hands get use to it and I'm forced to switch it up again! And while I do like the formula enough I'm not entirely crazy about it --- it's totally just me and my preferences! Nothing to do with the product itself. And for the price this doesn't seem like a bad deal considering how much product you get!

I've tried a lot of lotions lately and realize that I need about three different lotions to cover all my skin quirks. Obviously your face requires a different moisturizer than your feet, for instance. The Mountain Falls line is apparently intended as a bargain brand that mimics the most popular brands of lotion for a wide range of uses. This Daily Moisturizing Lotion is a very good non-greasy lotion for general use, comparable to Jergens although the marketing compares it to Aveeno. (Aveeno is one of the few lotions I haven't tried yet.) It feels smooth and absorbs well. The odor is negligible and only discernible close up. (I don't think there is such a thing as odor free -- they may not add any fragrance but it still has a scent of some kind.) You get a lot of lotion for a low price and it's a good product.

One of the big points mentioned for this lotion is that it's non-greasy. I'd have to disagree. Maybe it depends on what you call greasy, but I find this leaves a bit of a film on my hands and arms after applying, a firm that is close to being sticky. It doesn't seem to melt into the skin as much as other moisturizing lotions I've tried. It does leave my hands feeling not dry, but a lot of that is just the leftover lotion.Otherwise, it's not a bad lotion. It's truly fragrance-free. I can't smell even a hint of fragrance. There is a generous potion in the tube, and it would last quite a while. It didn't irritate my skin in any way. If you don't mind a bit of lotion lingering and a tough of a greasy feel, you might like this for the bargain price and the lack of scent.
