I bought this for my husband who enjoys a nip of whisky now and then. This pipette is the perfect tool for adding a single drop or titrating larger amounts of water in scotch whisky. Sometimes all you want is a single drop of water to open up the oils in whisky and other times, you want larger amounts of water to dilute a cask strength shot. It is easy to use and looks great. It is glass so expect to handle with care as you would your whisky tulip glasses and your expensive whisky bottles.

Looks very cool but a gift, so has not been used yet!

I received my Eisch Whiskey Water Dropper just yesterday. Today at lunch time I unboxed it. I expected something to arrive in bubble wrap and little else. Instead I received a little package with background information on the company and production model. The actual water dropper was wrapped in protective styrofoam sleeve and then the black tissue paper you see in the picture of the envelope contents. The envelope was shipped in a larger box with additional cushioning material. I was a bit concerned after I read an earlier review that suggested that the metal coating was painted on, but it is clearly fired into the glass. The surface is glass smooth across the entire water dropper surface, without any disruption in the transition from the clear section to the metal infused section. It is definitely not a metal band or metal paint around a glass core. You can observe the lack of a ridge or transition in the glass in the picture shot down the barrel of the water dropper. There is only one item which prevents it from being a five stars. The top of the barrel is not absolutely flat, so it will not balance when set on end. I will need to place on a surface where it's ability to roll is limited so it doesn't hit the floor and shatter.

It’s exactly what was expected.

Great product

For $40 this is cheaper than it looks. The gold is tawny and flat. The water dropper though beautiful shape and design does not-no matter how hard you try-fill the dropper full of water. I could only get it to fill 1/4 the way. Maybe the matte black would be a sharper “look” however the end with the color swab was so thin it feels like it would get scratched/dinged up easily (there is no protective barrier on it to make sure it stays nice). Again the price is STEEP for the quality. This was purchased to complement a whiskey lovers bar and I had to return it before even showing it to him. The quality was so poor I wouldn’t even want to display it... The funny thing is we returned to buy a $2 glass dropper with measuring marks that works sooo much better. It’s definitely not a prettier alternative but not worth paying the alternative to have something that wouldn’t get used.

Not much to say other than it’s a expensive bit of glass but I rather like it, oh and the silver finish is fragile

Come da foto. Un po' caro ma sapevo cosa stavo comprando. Unico neo il confezionamento di Amazon che ha messo il prodotto in una scatola tipo piego di libri schiacciando la scatola del prodotto e mettrndo a rischio rottura il vetro.

La sua funzione la fa, ma 30 € per una cannuccia di vetro sono un'esagerazione. Pensavo almeno, visto il prezzo, arrivasse in una bella confezione da regalo, invece è in una busta di cartone leggerissima che con la consegna si è tutta rovinata tanto che temevo si fosse rotta anche la pipetta

I paid $80 for this. Description said a nice gift box and picture shows a felt case for it. None of it showed up. Instead, a crumpled paper package and the pipette is wrapped in gift tissue paper. Looks like it’s been returned. There are light scratches on the very thin platinum surface. Very unsatisfactory. I will ask for a refund.
