BOSS Audio Phantom P106DVC 10" 4200W DVC Car Subwoofers Power Subs Pair

Not sure why all the negative reviews... scratchin my head on that and felt I should write a review to help everyone.I have greatly enjoyed the sound from these Boss Phantom speakers. Was looking for 12 inch, but saw this deal on 10s and got a box/bundle deal with a boss amp several years ago and couldn't resist the low price point. Ran the Boss amp for about a year, sounded good but I wanted great! Moved up to a friends old Rockford Fosgate amp (like 2500W, old made in USA amp) and WOW!! I have the dual coils wired for 2 ohms each channel (R/L) and have clean thumping on every kind of music.I have the subwoofer box (sealed, not ported) way, way back in my Ford excursion, pointed to the right side, but the sound is RIGHT THERE behind you! Even moves your hair when you look to the side:) Love it!For the price, the performance is everything you need short of competition, where you wouldn't be shopping at this price point anyways... For everyone else, properly amped, or in my opinion even under amped, these are going to deliver the sound your looking for!

Worked great for a couple hours after install. I hooked up 2 of these to an amp that shouldn't be able to blow one at max watts. I was going to send in for the refund since I got the protection plan but after the amount of time and questions it wasn't even worth it. How about I request a refund send me a slip to send it back and I get the refund? I don't need to play 20 questions over and over add an option for it didn't even work for a day that's why.

Arrived a day early really like the way they look and feel ive had the 12s before but sold then and bought these if you are looking for a great sound in your car audio but your on budget her you go #budgetbass uodateeeee the box i ordered for them is perfect and they sound amazin i have the on old school lanzar vibrant 2000watt amp they sound amazing i can have them on 13 volume and my neighbors tell me to trun it down lol

Good quality it seems.

the two subs are more than enough to get the job done. i'm using a sealed box, which provides more room in my trunk, and has a nice thump when the bass hits. each sub is rated at 2100 Watts and 1050 RMS, so be sure to match them properly with the amp. when wiring them, make sure to check the amp's ohm. i'm using a monoblock 4000 watt class D rated at 1 ohm. again great product.

not one day went by after installing and the coil ended in smoke. Didn't have it turn all the was it was 1/4 on the control powered by a 1500 watt amp so cheap material and unreliable

I use to have old DB drive subs but was looking for more power. I came across these and thought I’d give the 10” 2100watt subs a try. Came in late and took forever to install because the plastic decorations it has were way too bulky for my box so i took them off and installed them but did not provide the promised sound. I have them connected to a 1600 watt amp and they sound like a $5 Bluetooth speaker you’d find by the cash registers at Walmart. Always save up for a better brand, Boss audio has let me down :(

I bought these for my sons first truck and they sound amazing. I power them with a boss 1100 watt amp and I have it turned all the way down to 1 on the head unit. When you crank the base it rattles the windows with no distortion. Very pleased with this purchase and I know he's going to love the surprise!!!
