Q: Would these work on Dodge Caravan with sliding door?

If you have a weather strip around the door opening that you can pull down to reveal the metal underneath, then these will work. They simply hook onto the steel lip, the weather strip is pushed back up to cover it and the door is closed normally. They work great

Q: I have a 2017 kia sorento. the door insulation does not peel down. there is no lip for the hooks to attach. how do you attach the hooks for this car?

so I have a 2017 Hyundai Sonata- I thought the same thing- but I found a plastic pry bar tool- gently pulled the weather stripping back- and there was a metal lip/seem. Almost every car has it - they are just getting better about hiding it- it us used in structurally to support the roof incase of a roll over. so just be gentle and take patience because these straps work great, no leaks !

Q: Will these work on a 2010 jetta?

I can't confirm 100% for a Jetta, but I used them on my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder that doesn't have a roof rack. These were a great substitute, and they worked perfectly to secure our canvas cargo bag to the roof when we went camping last year. They're designed to work for pretty much any car. You just open the door, pull back the rubber seal, attach the hook, push the rubber back then you're all set. I would totally recommend them.
