It's a very useful textbook.

A good read for any film enthusiast. Contains very detailed essays for about 50, or so, significant films, from the dawn of film making to all the way to today. Also contains a "How to understand or write a film analysis" and a "Glossary of critical terms," as well as the index. Good Stuff, but it is a hefty read, so heads up.

I got the book nice and quickly, I needed it for a modual at my uni, so I am quite happy with it. It is actually a interesting read.
