I'm giving this product 5 stars for a couple of reasons, but giving the company maybe a little heads up as the adhesives provided are NOT the same as a couple months prior.So I bought this product a few months ago to use at my CrossFit gym. As a coach, I love being able to use this, recorded live for the Open for members to watch from afar, truly a wonderful little gadget. I was a bit disappointed at the beginning when the small metal adhesive barely fit the magnet mount. You have to have it just right, sometimes dropping the weights would wiggle it and BAM, down came the phone. But for the most part, I enjoyed it and for what I needed it for.Recently I bought another one to keep at home since the other I keep at the gym. Only THIS TIME, they included the two small metal adhesives and TWO LARGE NEW ONES! Talk about listening to the people! However, I think the damage was done to all those who previously purchased it and didn't get that resolution.I would love if the company could provide maybe a couple of extra adhesives for sale separately. If you can do this for the people? I think you continue deserving 5 stars for your product. I'm beyond happy now with the large adhesive and I never have a problem with it becoming dislodged now. GOOD JOB!

At first, I didn’t realize you could tighten the knob to make sure this never drops my phone. I had a few accidents at first, and I broke my screen cover. Thankfully, that’s easily replaced now that I have the hang of it works like a dream!

Bought this as it was recommended by a buddy however I quickly noticed it doesn’t hold my iPhone 13pro max. I believe it could be due to the small metal sticker they provide. Fortunately I lost it at the gym one day and someone probably took it which prompted me to reorder/ seek alternative. That’s when I found GYMMate it’s cheaper and actually works even with my phone in a case. They are cheaper and provide your with a larger sticker. Sadly I Lost my GYMMATE in the gym but had to order another right away. Adding to this review: so I recently in the last few months bought two of these larger black ones and they just snap on the smaller end with a simple drop. Don’t think these are worth the money. I’ve included photos just not a good build quality.

The media could not be loaded. aking lots of videos at my gym with it. And will continue. The magnet is great. It holds to my phone and to the object I have it pinned to very well. Never had any issues there. And you can turn it to make it face any direction you want. That helps a lot!!! Just make sure you remember to take it down and don't leave it stuck to whatever you did when you were filming yourself. Or leave it on the floor. Because it's small and very easy to forget about. This is my second one. I lost my first one after only two weeks of having. Set it down and just walked out and forgot about it. Until the next day I needed it. Never found it. And almost did it again with this new one I just bought. Put it in your gym bag immediately after using so you won't loose yours as well. Because it's very easy to overlook.

Large magnet pulled off within a month but you can just use more glue and slap it back on. Worked like a charm until I dropped it.

Not sure if it’s from me not attaching it properly but the magnet you put on the phone case did not stick well so I had to super glue it. Other than that it works very well and I love that I can swivel the holder.

I bought it as a Christmas present and my cousin liked it! Uses it for the gym and it serves its purpose

I can stick the Gym Buddy on any steel structure and in the gym, we have tons of it. (Literally LOL) The left and middle are two that I train and I'm the one on the right. I have my phone set to take a photo by saying a word so it is steady, and I can aim it where I like. Easy to remove from the mount so I can put it in my hip pocket as well. The small metal plate that adheres to your phone is very unobtrusive.Great product! By the way, it comes with two larger plates and two smaller plates. That's great for if/when I get a new phone because that 3M tape isn't coming off easily :D
