We tried several humidifiers from Home Depot and Amazon. This humidifier is a champ. It looks nice and has a light that can be used as a nightlight. It is very easy to fill using a pitcher or a watering can. It is an efficient cool mist generator with 3 levels of intensity plus a warm mist setting that comes in handy when your house gets really dry in winter. It has a pad that you can put a few drops of the essential oil of your choice. The heating season just ended in our Georgia house, so I could check cleaning the humidifier before putting it in storage. The humidifier had very little mold in comparison to some very poorly designed models. It took me 5 minutes to thoroughly clean two humidifiers.

I love the fact I can refill the tank without taking the tank off. Just lift the cover and pour the water right in. I use distilled water so I eliminate the white dust and refill is a breeze. When I first purchased it I read that you should not put a towel underneath the unit. Of course, I disregarded that and put a towel under the unit anyway. Well after a while the mist stopped coming out and it appeared that the unit was not working anymore. I was about to start a return when I realized perhaps there was some merit to what they were saying. I cleaned and dried out the humidifier and put it back into operation one more time, but this time without the towel underneath it. Low and behold, it has worked great ever since!

I bought the same model again because the previous one lasted five years. Most competitive ultrasonic humidifiers die after a couple of years. My only complaint is that the inductive controls are flat against the body and cannot be seen in the dark.

This is my second humidifier. The first one I purchased was very good, not easy to clean and it filled from the bottom. The Pure Guardian is a pleasure to fill, lift off the top and pour in the water, no carrying the tank to the sink and carrying it back full and turning it over to set it back on the base. Cleaning is a snap and operationally it is so simple and yes quiet. I use purified water, I have a purification system under my sink, and trust me it is worth the cost to install the system. No white dust is produced from the minerals in the water, the tank stays clean so requires much less maintenance. It's a very nice looking humidifier and the blue light is a nice touch, although I keep it off since I have enough lights from other appliances. Get it, you will love it.

Got this humidifier, because we’ve had 3 other PureGurardian humidifiers over the years. This one, however, is not dependable. It works, then it doesn’t. I empty it, it works one night, then won’t work again. It’s less than 2 months old. Something is wrong with the brain of the this humidifier, as I see that 11% of the reviewers reported the same kind of issue. Wish I’d noticed that before I ordered this model.

By far the best humidifier I've ever owned for all of the reasons outlined below: * Effectiveness: Delivers a controlled amount of moisture throughout my 440 sq ft bedroom! * Easy straight-forward maintenance; Huge 2 gallon tank. Easy to fill tank, and I don't dread cleaning the machine 3x a month. * Low-Med-High setting for moisture setting and 2-nozzle to point of direction. Hands down a 5-star humidifier.

We loved this when we purchased it, but like every humidifier I have bought in the past, it just stops working after a couple years. We cleaned it routinely, but it has completely stopped and the lights flash like it is empty. They just don't make things to last anymore. For the price I expect them to last longer.

I like the ease of refilling, the amount of time it can run, that it is cool mist and heated mist. I have a smaller humidifier from the same company and have run it about 8 hours a day for about a year. Still using and works well. I wanted this one for the larger area and because the air feels better.

Been using this humidifier for several months. Extremely quiet, easy to operate, very simple to fill, easy to clean. Highly recommend. FYI: One full tank = approx 3L.

works great, but needs to be filled every 24 hours on high mode, every 60 hours on low mode - does not last 100 hours on low mode. nice and quiet. adjustable

Machine was good, seems to work great. It just doesn't have the finesse in quality that some other humidifiers have. The vaporization is not as fine, therefore the air feels very wet, and floor gets wet. I had to return as it came in a box with a large gapping hole, not confident that this much damage didn't damage the machine. Plus it creates too much wetness - maybe it would be good for a very, very large room.

So first night. Filled it. WOW 4 juice jugs worth of water to fill it. So if you use Filtered ect water.... I see those who complain about that being not economical. BUT if you dont have Hard Water in your area. Its not bad. Just use vinegar to clean it once a month. If you have hard water. It just means more cleaning more Often as you will get more white dust if you use cool which is more efficient. Warm I don't feel is worth it as you wake up feeling like your are sweating lol. Now day 1 was interesting. I left it on HIGH and turned it on 1.5 hours before bed. Felt right when i went to bed. Woke up 4 hours later with Room feeling Super Humid and windows all fogged up and wet. So turned it off lol. Day 2 i Turned it to High for 1.5 hours before bed and set it to Low for overnight and it was just Perfect. But i find the buttons are hard to use. Its almost like a touch screen style button but you have to push real hard sometimes for it to work. And you cant see the buttons if the room is dark so turning off or switching modes is impossible even with the super bright blue light being emited which I ended up duck taping that to keep it dark in room espcecially since it doesnt help light the buttons area. Overall its worth getting for its price. Too effective for Room 200sq feet at HIGH so had to it at LOW lol. No its not a 100 hours even at low but I have never seen iphone battery life last as long as advertised even when settings set to lowest and dont use internet ect.... so why would this be any different lol. I would say 1.5 hours HIGH and 8-10 hours LOW and 12 hours OFF, It lasted me 65ish hours total. Still very decent. Every night, Just come back with 1 pitcher full of water and top it off and you would not even need to worry about that since its Top Loading lol.
