Red Velvet The 5th Mini Album 'RBB'

Bought the cheapest one- $14.17- which is sold by Amazon. Arrived quickly, in five days. No damages to the outside of the package, which am glad for. Read reviews and comments always complaining about the size of Red Velvet's more recent albums and kind of turned me off from wanting to buy at least one in the beginning. Now that I officially have a first physical album from them after enjoying their music (a year and nearing an additional half) I realize that as always, the negative remarks were mostly unnecessary and uncalled for- in my opinion.Don't have issues with jewel cases having used to seen and used other artistes' albums in such cases growing up, like P!nk and Maroon 5. They were sturdy and kept good care of by relatives, unless a child like myself at the time was curious lol. The photobook's pages are thicker than expected, image quality is really good and as known, the women turned out beautifully in their images and concepts. Am also glad that some pages weren't partially blank, all were filled out and this is the kind of packaging I didn't expect because of others complaining about the size. Maybe not related, but it was interpreted a bit like that for me.They all have wonderful and fantastic personalities that help me to smile and not think of sad times even if their music is sometimes emotionally jerking. All these lovely ladies are my biases, since when I 'stan' a group I love them all. Pulled an Irene photocard and screamed some more, super happy that it's signed at the back. The poster size is way smaller than those one can get get from a magazine, if you are familiar with those. The lyrics book has good quality paper too. As a matter of fact, I thought that the quality paper that the lyrics book would have been is actually the quality material that the poster is and vice versa. No complaints, am really overjoyed that I could finally have this album physically and it has more than made my day. Thank you so much Red Velvet and those who helped produced the album's contents and Amazon for a job well done at supplying it a reasonable price, as well as, delivery methods used. Hope this is helpful for someone.For the music itself review, it's great as always. Not a music expert, just enjoy it and know little to nothing about genres lol. Like how they are always experimenting concepts and genres, as well as, adding their own certain twists and turns to them. Their voices are strengthening and how they express them with beautiful lyrics is magical. Find myself liking more harmonizing elements, like Sunny Afternoon, Body Talk, Rose Scented Breeze, Moonlight Melody, Day 1 and Don't U Wait More. Whenever it's a fusion of not only red and velvet, I find myself loving the simple yet complexities of the songs even more; most of their songs are favourites. Then I realize they are evolving into just so much more than red and velvet as was introduced and I really appreciate that they are branching out and owning it even if it makes some iffy at first because it's not like that 'normally.' Like this album and Reve Festival Day 1, they have more than both those successfully experimented track types, whilst they remind me of the mixture of all previous genres plus almost like making a new one- they're very much different. RBB reminds me of Rhythm and Blues- the really good ones that could merge so well with Jazz. A laidback yet alluring approach to situations; no fuss or rush aside from the title track. Favourites of this album are So Good and Butterflies, took me a long while- way prior to buying the album- to warm up to Sassy Me yet am now enjoying very much, Taste and RBB are good too.

My 14 year old daughter is into KPOP and Red Velvet is her favorite group. I ordered this, their 5th and latest mini-album CD for her, and was surprised by how happy it made her. The content is available digitally and streaming online, but there is still something special about having an album physically in your hands. The while only 5 songs plus an English version of Bad Boy, it has a booklet with the lyrics and an additional photo book, mini-poster and signed band member card. Audio quality is good -- as you might expect from something produced at this level.The music reminds me a bit of the boy an girl bands of the 80s and early 90s with an R&B. The audio is heavily refined and it all comes together in the catchy tunes. We listen to it when I take her to and from school and my favorite song is Sassy Me. I'm not sure why, but everything just clicks. The songs are short, and with only six in all, it is over quickly. We don't get bored with repeat listens though. I'm starting to be able to tell the band members apart -- with my daughter's help of course.I recommend this for any parent looking to give a KPOP loving teen a gift. It may not be my first choice of music, but it makes my daughter happy and I've actually gotten into it a bit as well. We'll probably start working our way through Red Velvet's back catalog now.~ Kort

Arrived in good condition

I've been a long time fan of Red Velvet and this mini album did not disappoint. RBB is very different from their previous "Red" songs but in a very good way! Lots of vocal runs on top of an experimental beat but what takes the cake are the vocal melodies. It may or may not be a lot to take in upon first listen but I assure you that RBB is definitely a grower, the more you listen the more you love it! I highly recommend you watch their comeback stage first if it is indeed your first time experiencing this track and their comeback. Their choreography is amazing.As for the rest of this mini album all of the tracks are amazing in their own right. My own personal favorites are Butterflies and So Good. Those songs have made their way to my list of all time favorite Red Velvet songs!

The album is good, very 80's and 90's pop theme. I love butterflies, so good, and sassy me. RBB shows their vocals very well.if you bought rv albums before, you already know how big their posters are lol. (I included a comparison with their summer magic poster from this summer)The poster that came with the album is small, paper thin and matte. Not sure if it's different bc of the US distributor instead of a korean based, but if you want the 610x920 mm sized poster, check kpoptown or ebay.Overall, not much different. The album is a good mini with amazing vocals and theme. RV really lives up to the dual, versatile concepts.Be sure to watch RBB mv in Youtube, stream in spotify, itunes, etc. 💘😙💘😙

The media could not be loaded. I’m a huge fan of Red Velvet and I was really excited to get this album but sadly it came broken like the case. I don’t complain about the things I ordered since they come in great condition but this made me upset! The CD was fine and it came with a photo card too!

Every track on here is grade A!!! Red Velvet truly continues their god-tiered discography. Red Velvet never disappoints Reveluvs. Love my girls and the albums that’s why I bought 12 and I don’t regret it at all :) Might even buy more to support the girls more and to give them away to other luvies who cannot buy them. I LOVE that SM is distributing it through Amazon for US buyers. I have prime so I got it the day of release and if I buy it now I’ll get it in two days instead of 3-4 weeks like if I would have bought it from S. Korea directly

Album came in perfect condition with everything listed. Nothing was missing. Adding to my Red Velvet collection <3

Rbb by far is one of my favorite RV albums since every song is really fun and catchy.I pulled joys photocard :)And really enjoyed the photobookThe Album is small making it easy to display on a shelf.

Llegó muy rápido y en excelentes condiciones. Lo único que no me gusto es que como la mayoría de los álbumes de RV, este tiene el photobook y por separado la cajita de plástico con el CD. Pero de ahí en fuera todo excelente, es un muy buen álbum.

O cd apesar de ser de acrílico por dentro veio em perfeito estado, com o photocard e tudo em perfeito estado.

L’album est arrivé plus tôt que prévu et en parfait état !
