Great value
This is the first experience I have ever had with a red dot sight mounted on a pistol. So far so good. Installation on my Glock 34 MOS was a breeze. Zeroing the sight was a bit more difficult but I attribute that to my inexperience as opposed to the actual product. It has held up and maintained its zero through hundreds of rounds of various grain weights. For an inexpensive sight it performs great. It's worth buying and trying for yourself.

Wouldn't Fit
Really nice Red Dot. Was really bummed when it wouldn't fit my Berreta APX A1 Carry. Bright in light and dark. Seemed to be well made. Just not the right pin pattern. Don't want a riser when using it for CC.

Blurry Reticle at High Brightness. But overall very good
The reticle becomes very blurry as the brightness increases, but at low to moderate brightness it looks good. Overall built very well, looks really good. Low profile red dot, great for pistols, SBRs or SMGs. 4/5 Stars.

Exactly what I needed
I installed this sight on a Bushmaster XM15. That is an AR with a fixed "carry handle" (old A2 style) so finding a red dot that still allowed me to have decent cheek weld while firing was hard. I needed something low profile (low rise) and this worked! Looks great and functions even better, I like the one push on, retains a memory of the last brightness setting with and easy adjustment up and down. Adjustable for windage and elevation as any sight would be. Battery compartment is mounted on the side allowing for easy battery changes without having to remove the sight like some red dots. Comes with a form fitted rubber cover to protect it while not in use. A+.

Buyer beware......mounting....
1 Star isn't because the unit is bad, but because it may be unusable for many.Don't know if this is a recent change in production, but the mounting pattern isn't a match for a Glock #1 MOS plate (Docter/Vortex/Fastfire), or an RMR (Block MOS plate #2). Conflicting information in reviews and website/literature as to one of the two aforementioned, but it doesn't fit either. The registration pins in the corners are a match for a Vortex Viper, but the screw holes are in different places (see attached pic), and completely different from an RMR.Maybe this is a recent change in production, but if case someone screwed it up. Had to return as I can't use this with any mounting pattern.Edited to Add: ....I now see the issue. The Glock MOS plate #1 has two pairs of mounting holes. The ones that sit more 'forward' match the Vortex Venom and Viper, the ones more rearward will match the Bushnell. So on the factory Glock MOS plates, the Bushnell will mount. But if you have a sight cut or another mount that is intended for a Burris Fasftfire/Vortex, then the Bushnell's screw holes will not line up. For example, it looks like the adapter plates for the M&P Core that are intended for the Fastfire/Vortex only have one pair of mount holes. So beware to those who intend to buy this for a pistol. It seems that the Glock factory MOS plate #1 with two pairs of mount holes is the only one you can use this with....and with the rear mount holesI'd say that's an unwise choice by Bushnell but maybe they could only fit it that way with the battery compartment.

Poor unboxing experience
This review deals only with the unboxing and initial thoughts on the Advance Reflex Sight (5 MOA). First there are no instructions in the box, no QR code that takes you to a manual online...nothing. So they are saving money on paper, ok. The sight is completely assembled and will not turn on, ok. I unscrewed the battery cover and looked at the edge of the battery, expecting to see one of those plastic discs keeping the battery from making contact with the terminal, couldn't see anything. So I decided to remove the battery and take a look. After picking at it for a while I had to resort to using the tip of my knife to edge the battery out of the compartment. It was tight and didn't want to come out. Finally I got the battery out and no plastic disc or cover. I grabbed a flashlight and found the plastic cover still in the battery compartment. I got it out and all is well now. But still, who thought it was a good idea to force this plastic covered battery into the compartment, install the screws and NOT let the consumer know with a card in the box or maybe a sticker with instructions. Just leave the battery out and we will install it.

Great reflex sight
Got it for a 10/22. Value for the money and rock solid build quality are great. The side battery door meant no removing the optic to replace the battery…a huge plus.

Works great for 22LR
Super easy install on 22 LR ( AR chassis) with a .75inch riser I had to use to see the red dot. Once dialed in it’s complete cheat code for shooting with both eyes open.
