Bought some of these years ago at a thrift store brand new and fell in love. They broke and always wanted to replace but just didn’t for whatever reason. Years later and I use them every day.Easy to clean. Sharp. Convenient is what got me! Hate washing cutting boards.

These kitchen food cutters are amazing. I'm a klutz in the kitchen who needs to make more salads. I have tried everything to cut vegetables quickly and easily: knife and cutting board, food processor, manual chopper, two mandolin slicers, and a Salad Shooter. The cutter sold here is much faster and easier than everything else I've tried.But be forewarned, the knife is super sharp and feeding small veggies like radishes is very dangerous. It's very easy to hit your finger with the blade. I know, I'm writing this review with a bandage on my finger from just such an accident.I highly recommend buying silicon mini tongs on Amazon to use with this cutter. They will save your fingers and make slicing less stressful. They're sold in multiples because you'll eventually chop them up with this cutter. Better than chopping up your fingers!

We have used this a couple times, before reviewing. When cutting nice crispy things, such as cucumbers or celery, this works out pretty well and is nice to have. We used it to try and chop up bacon for soup toppings, and it didn't seem to cut through it well, with the bacon getting stuck in the blade and needing to be brushed off. Raw meat was not attempted, however. We did wash in dishwasher, and it faired very well. Overall, a useful nice tool for the kitchen.

This is the best. You can chop just about any veggies and fruits but it's a lil harder to cut meats like your tougher meats like steak but it works with chicken n pork chops. It's easy to take apart to sharpen the blade, use as a regular knife and cleans up well in the dishwasher. I love mine therefore I bought one as a gift as well and she loves it too. Highly recommend buying.

This is replacing another. The other had a thin metal strip as the spring. This uses a conventional spring, which looks like it will last longer. It's also sharper than the other I had. When my other one finally broke, I just missed it so much when cutting cucumbers for my salads. So, I've realized, I don't want to be without one <g>.

It is a good concept and is very handy in the kitchen. My problem is the quality of the blade. Getting dull very quickly.
