Deanston 18 - a little-known gem and an absolutely incredible value.
Deanston isn't particularly well-known amongst the general public, but many single malt fans know that Deanston produces some absolutely cracking whisky at affordable prices.Deanston 12 is routinely mentioned / recommended in best value-for-money whisky conversations, but in my opinion Deanston 18 is an even better value proposition. I won't delve into detailed tasting notes - there's plenty on Google, and written by far better tasters than I - so I'll just say it is a brilliant, classic southern Highland malt (unpeated, light & smooth, fruity / floral). Integrity bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour and non chill-filtered. And one of the very, very few 18 year single malts that's still available for under £100 (and by some margin, to boot). Absolutely incredible value, particularly if you pick it up on offer for ~ £70; it is one of the few genuine deals left in the scotch whisky market. A wonderful bottle that will impress whisky neophyte or grizzled veteran alike.

Lovely dram
Bought as a gift and it was well received. My brother really enjoyed this, he said it was smooth, flavourful and very enjoyable which is saying something as he’s very particular.

Affordable 18 year old malt whisky
This is an amazing whisky at a fantastic price. It is highly rated and I have bought and tried this before. This is the cheapest 18 year old malt that I have ever bought. Integrity bottling.

Beautiful whisky
A surprisingly complex but well refined whisky. Outstanding for the price and a new favourite of mine. Will be being replaced with another bottle once this one is done.

Snap it up.
I always buy a bottle when it's reduced to under £65, I think this was my fourth bottle. I've never been disappointed and at this price point you'd be hard pressed to find another 18 year old -especially one as tasty as this. The 12 year old is pretty decent stuff too...

Delicious!
I don't have the palate of a Ralfy, so won't go down the road of what I think I can taste in this whisky. Suffice it to say that, having tried a fair number of well-respected single malts over the past couple of years, this ranks with the best of them. Complex and very, very satisfying. Quite a bargain at the price.
