The USP of the belt is its strength, 500lb breaking strength. The material itself is incredibly strong however when worn there is some give in the buckle, so there is a need to readjust. I imagine if i actually tried to pull or tow something heavy the material would just slip through the buckle. I kind of bought it to utilise its strength, but wouldn't trust its hold/non-slip strength if i was climbing and had to risk my life/health with it.I saw some people comment on the buckle saying their paint had worn off. Mine hasn't and I've worn it quite a bit. There is a slight scratch but you can barely see it. The belt itself fits well, fits through most pant loops and looks good on. It is still superior to most belts, but not as good as i had expected. There for I give it 3 stars.I would like the buckle to jam the belt better in place although if its designed for CQB taking it off quick and easy is important so perhaps it’s designed more for that and your views of it will depend on what exactly you want from it. As a belt its okay for £13 I’m neither happy nor disappointed. It’s an okay addition to my wardrobe.

Sizes incorrect. The belt is quoted as 115cm / 51.2 inches. The conversion is incorrect - in fact when measured it barely makes 44" and would just about fit a waist of 40 to 42.

UPDATE! The belt is still a good belt but the buckle is NOT stainless steel!! Very disappointed as I have an allergy to the metal it is made of and now the paint has worn off exposing the real metal beneeth I've had a nasty reaction to it.

I am what to pick it up

Very strong and durable but extremely easy to get on and off. I frequently strap my dogs lead to this belt for a hands free leaded dog walk and it holds up extremely well to any sudden pulls before I grab the lead...I couldn't say what force it will take before slipping but I've never had to tighten it even after the dogs pulled against the strap.

I received this belt as compensation for a minor manufacturing fault in a backpack I ordered. I contacted Yakeda several months after I received the backpack and they still gifted me this belt after all that time so their customer service is fantastic! And apart from the minor fault in the first order the quality of both products is excellent. Shall likely be buying from them again. :)
