The main issue I have is the handling of the package by the Amazon delivery person. The battery alone weighs around 53lbs., and care needs to be taken when moving it. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the delivery and chatted with two different Amazon support people about having the box pointing "this end up". The package had two sides with red arrow stickers pointing up to indicate how the box should be facing. I also left delivery instructions in the order about this. However, the delivery person did not pay attention to any of this and put the box sideways. Luckily, a family member got the box right after delivery and put it the correct way. I did call Amazon to tell them about this issue, and I hope that someone finally does something to prevent it from occurring again. The box the battery came in is thick cardboard. There were styrofoam sheets on each side and a lot of bubble wrap to cover up and fill the remaining area. The styrofoam sheets were somewhat crushed because of the box mishandling and who knows what else, and there were styrofoam bits everywhere, which I had to get a vacuum with a hose out to clean up. The battery itself seemed in good condition with no noticeable leaking or damage. I checked the battery charge, and it was 12.6 volts. The battery was brand new, and the manufacture date was the same month I ordered the battery. The price for the battery was the best I saw online, and I did not have to ship my old battery back. I took my old battery to an auto parts store, and they gave me $10 store credit even though I did not buy the battery there. It is probably better to order the battery when the temperature is not really hot or really cold outside. Also, do not wait until your battery dies before replacing it. If your battery is more than a few years old and you see the charge on your old battery when not in use is only around 11.6 volts, it would be a good idea to replace it before you get stuck with a dead battery in your car. If your battery is placed in an area of your car that requires a vent hose, this battery has 2 vent holes and comes with 1 plug (attached to the red cover piece for the positive terminal) for the unused vent hole. It does not come with a vent hose or elbow, and you should just use the parts that were on the battery you are removing. Excluding the delivery issue, I would recommend ordering this battery from Amazon.

Great battery, size exactly same as original. This is important because hold downs and the panel thats on top of battery need to be the same. Otherwise you need to make modifcations. The battery is installed in 2019 chevy silverado. The packing was great, fast shipping. Performance Outstanding and price very good.

Direct fit for my 2015 Silverado LT. Not sure why Amazon said it wouldn’t fit. Best price anywhere. Half hour install and cranked right up. Will update if it doesn’t last, but it’s replacing a 5 year old Delco so I expect the same or better. Was worried about its production date, but it was made in Dec. of 25 and as of this review it is Feb. of 26 so it hasn’t been sitting. Delivered right to my garage. Local Chevy dealer wanted $250 and the core without install. One of my better Amazon purchases.

Fits my 2016 Kia Sorento perfectly. Tried a few quick cranks after installing and it started right away each time. My only critique is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to return my old battery, so I’ll run it up to a local auto parts store. I’m concerned that most people are just going to throw theirs in the landfill though.

1. The Packaging - Upon opening the carton, the battery was in upside down. The exposed bottom was dirty. There were multiple, dents and gashes in the battery case. As thin as they make the lead plates nowadays, the risk of life shortening damage is ever present and impossible to detect. The small parts bag (red positive terminal cover) was missing. Examination of the carton revealed that the bottom had broken open and its contents had fallen out. Originally it had been taped with only clear tape. There was wear on the bottom of the carton indicating it had been slid around and that made the tape even weaker. See photo. Why in the world they would they not use strapping tape on something this heavy and dense? This is the manufacturer's fault more than the shipping company. They have to know this is inadequate. Can't return it. I'm stuck with it. 2. The handles - My battery is located in the trunk of my Chrysler 300. The OEM battery has a single robust handle. It can be taken in an out with one hand while using your other hand to steady yourself. while bending over. The AC Delco has 2 super wimpy handles and you must use both hands on the battery while awkwardly bending over. You have to be careful not to fall or throw out your back. I used an old 5 gallon bucket handle to lower it in place. 3. The vents - This battery has two vents and neither is plugged. There are no vent plugs (nor an elbow) in the small parts bag. I had to take the plug out of my old battery. How much longer as American consumers are we going to tolerate manufacturers and sellers constantly lowering the bar for themselves?

Great battery. Lots of power. More CCA than my OEM one. Arrives in a very timely manner also.

I've never had problems with ACDelco batteries. Never. Even the ones considered "budget" batteries always had a great initial capacity, great quality and lifespan. My last 2 ACDelco Silver non AGM batteries lasted 6+years in my work van and family SUV. This Gold series AGM is no different. Great quality as usual. And it's made in Germany! It was delivered in a great, sturdy cardboard box with excellent spray foam protection. Even if it was dropped nothing would happen to it. I don't get why people are complaining about battery being "delivered upside-down". This is non spill battery! Nothing to complain about. One thing I definitely recommend before installation is charging. Doesn't matter what voltage you getting with your tester. Even if it's 13+ volts just put it on low amp(1.5-2A) charge overnight. You will thank me later. Slow initial charging to full capacity will greatly improve longevity and will ensure you get maximum from your investment. I'm speaking from personal experience. Never failed me.
