Silhouette America Transfer Tape, 12-Inch

I love this Silhouette transfer paper. It is a good quality product. Comes on a roll and a very good price. I love that this product has the red square grid on the backing. It makes it super easy to line up your designs on whatever you are applying them. It is a great adhesive and can be reused if you stick it back on the waxed paper coated backing sheet. The grid also makes it easy to cut straight without having to find a ruler and draw your own lines. You can easily cut it to the size you need for your designs. It holds the design securely but also releases easily to the product you are applying. I definitely recommend this product to others. You will not be disappointed.

I find this stuff is required when I cut some adhesive vinyl with my Cricut and transfer it to something to do a paint mask, and I have some fine details in the cutting. I notice this is just contact paper (which, as we all know, is not paper), so I'll look around and see if this price is the normal rate for that, or I can maybe find it cheaper elsewhere.This product was very thick and strong, and the backing paper separated without trouble. It gripped my vinyl cutout from the top strongly enough that I could remove my vinyl's backing paper fairly easily, and then after applying the vinyl to some painted steel, I was able to get this peel off from and release my cutting with only slight difficulty. I would say overall I could not imagine anything working better than this product did.

Terrible! I had a roll of this transfer paper that came with my cameo machine. It was great. I reordered when I needed more. Every time I've used it, it doesn't work. The vinyl does not transfer to it very well at all. I have wasted so much time and vinyl with this transfer paper. I don't know if it's a bad lot or what, but what I have now is not a good product.

This stuff works like a charm! I used it to transfer an outdoor grade vinyl to some acrylic cups and it worked perfectly! Just make sure to rub the transfer paper well with a credit card to make sure the vinyl sticks to it before picking it up; then rub it well onto your desired surface before pulling the transfer paper away. The grid lines help you keep your transfer straight!

I was using clear contact paper from my local supermarket to transfer my vinyl projects to canvas before this product. It did an alright job and I thought the hassle that did occur was worth the savings. Never ever again! First off the grid pattern is so much easier to follow, making it easier to ensure alignment. Secondly, the tackiness is just right. There is none of my previous fits with the transfer ripping the vinyl as I remove it. I wish I had found this product and learned this lesson months ago!

I use this transfer paper with all of my vinyl projects. It has come down in price which makes me happy since I do use it for a lot of projects. If you are careful, you can reuse it multiple times with adhesive vinyl projects- pretty much until it is no longer tacky. I feel like this is a superior transfer paper to the others on the market.

The actual silhouette brand transfer tape is very nice but I do not believe that is what I received. The tape would not stick to the vinyl hardly at all and rendered some projects ruined. I bought a roll at a local craft store and the labelling was slightly different and the tape from the local craft store works as intended. Test out the roll you get quickly and make a note of the seller in case it turns out not to be authentic. The product itself works good so not a completely negative rating so the silhouette brand isn't tarnished in the star aggregate

I absolutely love this transfer paper! I know a lot of people prefer the clear transfer paper because it allows them to see their design, but I love this one because the lines make it SO much easier to line up my projects and place them evenly on their surfaces. At first I hated this stuff because I could not see my designs through the material, but my mother suggested I wear a headlamp whole placing my designs on their surfaces and (even though I feel totally ridiculous wearing it) it was the perfect set up! The Head lamp makes it possible to see my design through the transfer paper (hands free lighting is amazing!) and the lines on the transfer paper make it so easy to place the designs on straight and evenly. This is now the only transfer paper I've bought in the last two years!
