We used these grids with suction cups and zip ties to create a basking platform and ramp for our hatchling slider turtle. They were easy to cut to size to fit the width of the aquarium. They do sag a bit at the connection joint, so in a few years when our turtle is large and weighs more, the joint may need tape or some additional support in the middle. The grid design is nice and allows our turtle to dry completely. He has no problems gripping it to climb. Definitely a functional and economical choice for us.

The media could not be loaded.  So I was a little upset at first that I couldn’t slide them together easily in order to lock them together. But I just used the back end of a hammer to gently tap them into place. I used the rubber end of the hammer because I didn’t want the plastic to crack. Now that they are in place, I really like the fact they are a tight fit. I added a video to show how I did it. Using these to make a false bottom in my hermit crab tank.

Didn't work for me since I was trying to block Bettas. They were able to swim right through the holes. It seemed like a decent product and I will hang on to in in case I get large fish to separate.

Works pretty well. Used these to build a tank for a few fish and mantises. Hold weight good as long as you put something underneath part of it.

Update- after a LOT of effort, I was able to force the pieces together so I'm updating to 4 stars. A pain for sure, but serves its purpose nowPieces do not fit together, making it completely useless

Good product. Works as advertised. Followed other reviewers comments about tapping the boards into place with a mallet. Worked perfectly.
