I’m so sorry for the crappy half-face “after” photo but it’s the most recent photo I have that isn’t a double-chin or otherwise ugly face selfie... if that doesn’t tell you something bout me... LOL. Anyway, this brow product was a game changer for me. I used to switch between Anastasia Beverly Hill’s BrowWiz and the NYX MicroBrow Pencil (I think thats the name of it) because ya girl is sometimes broke. But then I went to an asian beauty store in NY and bought the Etude House TintMyBrow marker, lemme tell y’all, it makes my natural makeup routine so much easier/faster. Since it has four tips that makes natural brow strokes, it fills in my sparse areas and if I’m feathering in the front part of my brow, I can use my ring finger to light smudge up if it is too dark! This has become my MAIN brow product, paired with Glossier’s Boy Brow in Black. Just love.

This brow pen is amazing! First, the color: as someone with ashy/neutral toned hair, brown brow products often appear quite reddish or orange on me and look very unnatural. The Gray Brown shade of this pen is just right - pretty much the exact shade of my brows, perhaps a little darker, but completely neutral, unlike the many warm-toned products out there.But, even more importantly: the applicator is genius. You need to apply lightly, just gently touching the pen across the area you want to fill, but the hair-like lines give a very natural looking finish, without any blocky, opaque-looking color. Finally, it lasts literally for days and so can be very convenient to help speed up your morning routine. I'm really impressed with this product and will likely purchase again once this pen runs out.

I have lighter-coloured brows which are sparse in places so you can easily see the skin under my brows. This makes them appear even sparser than they really are. I use this pen to fill in the areas where my skin is visible through my brows and it makes them look thicker and nicer. I store it nib-down so it doesn’t dry out. This is the perfect shade if you want a more medium ashy-blonde brow. This pen has been the longest lasting one I’ve purchased. Even some of these “marker” brow pens from well-known brands have dried out on me after a couple applications. I will continue to purchase this pen.
