2004 Suzuki Ltz 400 with Athena 440 big bore kit
Carburetor was an exact fit except for throttle tube on carburetor is longer than factory one. I tapped threads down as far as I could cut some of it off and works perfectly now

Carburetor leaked bad .
Had large fuel leak. Way to small of jets will run way lean .Found problems with the metal seat on fuel bowl replaced with rubber one and re jetted to make it work . But you get what you pay for! Cheap ain’t good and good ain’t cheap!

Fixed throttle cable problem 2004 LTZ 400
Same as other reviews about throttle cable being too short and hitting the frame. Used die with same threads and threaded all the way to the bend on the outlet. Then used a tubing cutter to cut about 3/8 of an inch off. Filed down the ends of the cut and used die to clean up the threads. Routed the throttle cable under the frame and attached the cable to the carb. Before connecting the cable make sure the thrumb adjustment is all the way in and cable adjustment is screwed all the way to bend by the lock nut. Take your time connecting the cable it can be a pain. After connecting the cable check the thumb adjustment by watching how much free play the cable has at the connection on the carb. There will be very little free play but this will allow the throttle plate to close. With everything in place, the throttle cable will have a sight bend that touches the frame but does not interfere with the operation of the cable. The bike started up fine and can adjust the idle with no problem. The bike revs just like new runs good in the back yard but will need to take the bike on a long ride. So far so good.

Requires a little modification but worth $40 for sure
05 kfx 400 is running great with this. Like all the other reviews, the throttle cable is in the wrong position. I read through the reviews and knew I'd have to do one of modifications mentioned in the reviews. There's 2 options or flat spots on the OEM carb and this carb (identical) for where the throttle cable tube can be pressed in. I simply drilled a hole with a drill bit the same size as the OEM tube in the second spot to match the OEM carb. Pulled the throttle tube off the old one with a vice and pry bar and finnessed it into this one with a little hammering. Works perfect and I didn't bother checking the jets or anything. Probably took 10 minutes

Throttle cable alignment doesn’t work at all don’t believe this other reviewers they are full of it
First off this is a China made carb but for it being made in China everything is almost spot on twitch except 2 things. The hole for the throttle cable inlet is in the wrong position and the inlet stem is not right either and the position it’s in you can not use the oem one because I tried it and it does not work and the only way you can use it is if you notch the frame on your atv and you have to use the inlet they provide and it’s to damn long and there isn’t enough adjustment for the throttle cable at all and your atv will idle high no matter what. But my z400 fired right up with it after I did a valve adjustment. I put my oem carb back on only thing this carb is good for is parts other then that stick to oem

Perfect!
Works really really well for $40! I have an 07 ltz 400 that would only run on choke and just bog out and die. After throughly cleaning and replacing every part in the stock carb three times I decided to give this one a go. Starts right up and idles perfect! My LTZ does have the tps sensor and this carb does not have a insert for it, but it still runs perfect without the sensor, just keep it unplugged. Only part I had to switch from the stock carb was the throttle cable inlet guide because the one on this was too long (very easy to switch out). Recommend to anyone that has bogging or starting issues!

Buyer beware.
Not a replacement for a 2005 king quad 400. Beware! Will not allow for installation of throttle cable.
