NOW supplements are wonderful. Having tried higher cost products I can say with confidence that NOW products are just as good at half the cost or less.In this particular case I use chromium as an aid with workouts. I find it helps with healing time.Personally, I take it just before bed. Remembering when to take what supplements is always a pain, so I just take things before bed. These never upset my stomach regardless if it's full or empty. The tablets are small and easy to swallow. In my case there have been no side effects.GTF chromium has great bioavailability. That means the amount of chromium your body actually ends up using is excellent. That's why the dose is smaller. Cheaper forms don't absorb as well so you need twice as much for the same effect.This is a great choice for a Chromium supplement.

This is one of the only brands that sells 200 mg capsules of Chromium Picolinate.

I am type 2 diabetic, working on controlling with diet & exercise. As I'm losing weight (to get my blood sugars normalized), I didn't want to be on prescription meds. When I first started this lifestyle change, I was having trouble keeping my sugars down even with eating right & exercising. I asked my primary care doctor about using these pills in conjunction with a healthy diet & exercise, he said they were fine to try.So far, they are helping my blood sugars (again with eating right & exercise).Always ask your doctor before trying anything! Especially if you're taking medication for diabetes.

I like to do intermittent fasting, these help keep my sugar lows at bay. I would get hypoglycemic kinda, and need to eat something with sugar to not feel faint, also I have crazy cravings as well even on my non fasting days. Now my sugar cravings are gone and I don’t get faint also I don’t think about food all the time.

Now I can say that this product does work. I read the research and listen to an area doctor talk about the merits of this product. I do not have sugar cravings. and my blood sugar has always been balanced. My daughter had sugar cravings and told me about it. I told her to start taking one pill a day and she informed me that the very next day that she did not have any desire to have anything sweet.I recommended this product to a friend of mine whose dad was dieing due to his diabetes. I told him that his dad should try it but don't let the doctors know. His dad while in the hospital started taking this supplement without the doctors and nurses knowing.The doctors informed the family that nothing could be done and that funeral arrangements needed to be started. His son told me that the doctor and nurses after four days came in drew blood and did their test and stated that they could not figure out why all of a sudden his diabetes was improving. Five days later he checked out of the hospital and the next week signed up for a gym membership.If you want a review that this product works there you go! Another friend of mine is completely off of all his diabetes medication and the doctor is pressuring him to tell him what he is taken your doing. His diabetes was becoming a sever problem but not anymore. He still has not told his doctor about this product.

I got this to go with cinnamon to help with pre diabetes. Then I noticed the cinnamon capsules already contained Chromium so I haven't actually needed these. That being said, I have no problems with the quality of this product which is most likely just fine.
